ShaolinLax 03-26-2005, 12:16 AM Yeah i watched it. i to had it a little closer then the judges I wasn't impressed by hopkins at all in this fight, if he always fights like this he will never be a champ. I havent seen any of his other fights though. mauricio95 03-26-2005, 12:18 AM it was a boring fight :( Konstantin 03-26-2005, 12:19 AM Yea i wasnt to impressed with hopkins at times... Boy DLH looks big, i dont know how hes going to get down to 147 mauricio95 03-26-2005, 12:25 AM Yea i wasnt to impressed with hopkins at times... Boy DLH looks big, i dont know how hes going to get down to 147 he must be weighting 200 pounds easy  he needs to stay retired .::|ULTIMATE|::. 03-26-2005, 12:47 AM Hopkins is far from ready for prime time. That guy Neto Bravo got inside whenever he wanted, but he was throwing nothing but arm punches. He looked like a shoe shiner. Overall a boring fight, a guy that wanted but couldnt and a guy that could but wouldnt. Librado Andrade's brother looked horrible also. They should match reese with him next see if they really are as different as they seemed based on tonights fight. BrickJungleGorilla 03-26-2005, 01:23 AM It looked to me like Hopkins could have dominated that fight. In the first round or two he dictated the fight with the jab, but after that it looked like he quit throwing it. He isnt nowhere near ready to fight any of the top guys, but this was the first time I seen him fight, so i could be wrong. |
