...well at least part of it. A friend invited me to a near-by sports bar to watch the event and I decided to give it a chance and this is what I got out of it.

Dana White ain't stupid, he knows which 'fan' he's aiming for. First it was the weight-in, with a guy screaming with a screeching annoying voice as the fighters would come in and 'hard rock'(the kind from WWE events) in the background. Then the fights finally began, the first one was a :47 second KO in the first round. I thought it was pretty good but there was clearly a size disadvantage. Then after the bout, I discover that the winner couldn't make the official weight-in and came in 6lbs over...6lbs over!wtf? so by the time the fight took place he was maybe 20lbs over the other guy.

Then before the second fight, a texting contest...If u think the fight will go by ko, text 1 to *****, if its by DCN text 2 to *****, if its by submission txt 3 to *****....REALLY? Then the sponsors BUDLIGHT AND HARLEY DAVIDSON....

For the second fight one of the guys came out with: 'I got a Feeling" by blackeyepeas for a boring fight and by the time the third fight came up I was gone...

I don't mean to insult anyone here but UFC is simply not my thing that is all. And from what I saw, Dana White is aiming at WWE with all its antics. So for all those who enjoy MMA good for u and enjoy it but i've tried this over and over again and I just keep getting more and more upset at the whole thing. That's it

K1 was good, and there are other MMA events that are tolerable. But UFC was a gimmick from the get go and now it really reminds me of WWE. I mean, texting contests? rubbish. Even UFC 1 was built to let gracy showcase his fighting style. It was built for him to win and easily beat his oponents
