It was a closer fight than what he did to Chavez or Hernandez. abdiel2k3 03-25-2005, 06:41 PM It was a closer fight than what he did to Chavez or Hernandez. lmao actually they werent both chavez and hernandez landed more solid shots on him and not from erik letting him they made their shots land pac had to have morales let him now the whole filipino boxing army is done no one left to fight AintGottaClue 03-25-2005, 06:42 PM more pac hating i see i had the fight a draw, but i can see it easly going for morales, no way pac won though dustymoo 03-25-2005, 06:52 PM Made Manny look like an amatuer. Schooled him well and made his punches look sloppy....amazing. I dont think he made him look that bad. Morales had to dig deep at times. Especialy when he got careless in the last round, and loosing the first. But Eric's jab was near perfection. Pac still has plenty to offer, and i hope he does! Chups 03-25-2005, 06:56 PM lmao actually they werent both chavez and hernandez landed more solid shots on him and not from erik letting him they made their shots land pac had to have morales let him now the whole filipino boxing army is done no one left to fight LMAO Actually they were Pacquiao landed more shots Chavez and Hernandez didn't even talk about rematch If it was not close would Larry Merchant have it a draw The scorecards says 115-113 which is in par with all 3 Barrera vs. Morales fight Chavez and Hernandez scorecards are a million miles away something like 118-109 or whatever..... watch the fight again when you're not drunk. :D :D Kimmy 03-25-2005, 06:57 PM I don`t like Manny pac but he did well at times and it was close but i feel morales was the convincing winner! .::|ULTIMATE|::. 03-25-2005, 06:58 PM Pac manned up in the fight and i give him lots of props, he stayed in the line of fire so he could fire back some hard shots of his own. Some fighters elect not to risk even if it means their loosing their possibilities of winning they just wanna finish the fight. Morales is anything but a light fisted fighter. Hernandez by his own admission said it was too hot to handle and elected to smother Morales' punches as well as his own to take less punishment. A testament to the heart and bravery of pacquiao imo. ClydeErwinBarretto 03-25-2005, 07:13 PM I don't understand all of these random bashes at moments. Even MORALES gave props to PAC stating that he was tough and a warrior. I watched the fight again and even though my scoring didn't change (with Morales winning obviously) the fight somewhat did seem a little closer. Morales just masterfully ended the rounds great and kept PAC away. MlLkMan 03-25-2005, 07:32 PM I don't understand all of these random bashes at moments. I wouldn't say it was easy for Morales but he was in control for the majority of the fight. I score it 116-112, great fight. OliverNo1 03-26-2005, 08:55 AM I also watched it last night on Sky - I had Em winning by a minimum of 2 rounds also, but i think if he had have worried about the scores he wouldnt have pulled the "southpaw stunt" in the last. That said(Im going to knowingly contradict myself) between 4 and 5 rounds were close so i spose the Pac nuthuggers will give their man ALL of the close ones giving him something like a draw. Who cares anyhow - the record books say EM won, end of story. Great Fight though. Mick Hucknall 03-26-2005, 08:56 AM its still on sky sports right now with the Arce,Hussein fight. OliverNo1 03-26-2005, 09:08 AM Unfortunately Bob the builder is on in my house(ahem) thekid 03-26-2005, 09:38 AM Pacman is the kind of fighter that is always going to give you a fight no matter who is in front of him. Most fighters try and look pretty and do not fight or go and take the win. {BrownBomber} 03-26-2005, 03:10 PM Pac manned up in the fight and i give him lots of props, he stayed in the line of fire so he could fire back some hard shots of his own.
