So did you think the 60's 70's 80's or 90's the best, and why.

I think the 80's was awesome, I wish I could've been a teen in the 80's. It was wild and fun and they had good music, and MTV actually played music video's back then. :p

I said the 70's. Great music, sexual revolution in full swing. No AIDS to worry about.

I have to say the 80's cause it was when I was a kid! In the 90's everything changed and nothing was fun anymore! Bad was good in the 90's which still to this day makes no sense to me!!! In the 80's, everything was fun. The music, movies, even the cartoons were awesome!!! God do I miss those days!!! Hard to believe it's been 15 years since the 80's. :(

THE EIGHTIES...especially 1982

the birth of me was the highlight of the 80s
especially as my mum also gave birth to the
beast which is my sister Georgia.

i suppose the 90s had the most influence on me
as i was a teenager. drugs, sex and the chillis

1982 - The worst year ever. :p

But.....it was the best year to be a fight fan :

Holmes-Cooney
Pryor-Arguello
Gomez-Pintor
Chacon-Limon IV

The NFL went on strike, & the networks used boxing to fill the time slots.

Hagler, Hearns, Pryor, Arguello, Holmes, Spinks, Braxton, Leonard (though he retired that year), Chandler, Mancini, Sanchez.

Sanchez's death....Leonard's retirement.....Mancini-Kim tragedy.

Tons of big fights. Tons of legendary fighters. Boxing constantly in the news. Great prospects coming up.

I've been following the sport since '81.....& that was the year that was !

Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area and being in High School in the 70's was --- well, I don't remember --- I was too stoned, or was it the acid, maybe it was all the concerts that Bill Graham used to put on. They were all called "A Day On The Green" and it always was just that, in fact you could bring in any size bong you wanted as long as it wasn't made of glass! Cops just looked the other way! I LOVED IT!!!

...Your are right about the eighties. It was a great time to grow up. The music was the best there has ever been in any decade by far. The clothes were pretty cool and the dance styles weren't goofy either. I don't think there has been a hipper or cooler decade. You would have loved it.

60s. Great music. The youth were actually motivated about something. People were real rebels back then. JFK was pres.

The youth were fighting for social change, to add on to that piece of thought.
