If any of you guys play poker come check out Full Tilt Poker. I've been playing there for a week and it's a great site. Lots of pros play there, Ivey, Lederer, Ferguson it's the best site I've played at and where I've won the most $. They have a 100% deposit bonus going on right now.

Of course, and if you play and refer someone you will too. All poker sites pay for referrals.

I play everytime I go to AC and Vegas, but I would NEVER gamble online. I know people who practically gamble for a living and the best advice they could give me is to stay away from online gambling (especially Poker)

I would never play blackjack, craps or any other game online that favors the house. That would just be dumb, but I've managed to make some good money playing poker online. I'd rather play in a casino, but location and having a family don't allow me to do that as often as I'd like so playing online is a good alternative, some sites are way better then others IMHO and I just stick with the ones I like, PokerStars and FullTiltPoker.

I was kinda thinking ill call u over the phone and tell u what i have and u tell me what u have. Then we have better odds if we tell our other buddies to join the same table and work the rest of the trusting people playing against us.

If it is play money im all in baby!!

My grandfather has won over 2 mil playing poker in his lifetime and over 600K in Vegas playing poker...he's the best poker player I have ever personally been around. He retired at 40 years old because he could just play poker and own property to make an income. He specifically told me to NEVER gamble online. But yeah I enjoy playing Omaha, Hold Em, 7Stud and Razz.

That could actually work. The other thing that I have heard about is computer programs for hold'm games that tell you exactly what your win percentage is going to be, just like on Espn. My friend uses one, and he makes a little bit of money.

Do it over MSN rather than on the phone. I usually go to Tigergaming.com they have tables for real and play money.

They do have those programs, it just links in with whatever site your playing on and gives you the odds of winning, the odds of what the other guys have and keeps running statistics of when you fold, how much you win etc..

As far as cheating and playing in teams, I'm sure it happens all the time, but most of these sites have better security than you'd think. I've played with my accounts at my brothers house and now the site will not let us play at the same table together for that reason.

Online, at your buddies house or in the casion the cards don't lie and if you play tight and smart you're gonna win. It's just a game of making the right decisions, and online for every 2 guys that are cheating, there's 200 guys with money to burn.

Hey Zen, good to see you again. I am glad to hear you are making some money playing on-line. I can't seem to master cash games. I prefer sit n go tournaments. I will have to play you on pokerstars sometime. For play money of course. I don't like playing friends for real money.

Playing Poker online takes away the best part of any good poker game, BLUFFING. You can't bluff anyone because you can't read a player (since you can't see him). I prefer Hole'Em and bluffing and reading your opponents are key factors in the game.

Whats up Fallout, I was wondering if you were still playing online. When do you play?

Rick Reeno, you can bluff online, you just have to be alot more careful cause there are so many idiots playing that will call with low pair and **** like that. I do prefer live games cause it is alot better when you can read the other players actions and the way the talk and act. Online you just have to be more patient and wait for the cards to come.

Agree! If you eliminate the skill part and limit it to just "what you're delt" and everyone runs programs... well, atleast it doesn't sound like fun. Glad you're making money though, whether its by playing or signing people up.

On a side note though, why would someone "want" to walk up to tables that pro's are playing at? Maybe its a "macho" thing, but I'd rather play for money with tools I can win all day against :)

I had a pretty good run on PokerStars for a while, but Reeno's right nothing beats a live game.

I play poker at least 3 times a week with friends for money. I play on party poker, but not for money. If I was you, I wouldn't play online for money, I don't trust the sites. I'm playing today as a matter of fact, right after I box the kid i'm supposed to.

For limit games I see what you're saying, with No-Limit it's all in the betting.

I think it's very possible to win money playing poker online and in live games. I do think you have to have a different style for each type of game. Online you have to play your cards much more, while in live games you can read other players and make much more well informed decisions making it easier to bluff and lay down decent hands. Patience online is crucial.

Yeah I play poker on occasion, they only time I play for money is at friend's house, I'am only 17 so it's not like I can gamble online, but I play free sit down tournmanets and I'am halfway decent. To me it's a great relax game.
