Does anyone know why this 2 time WBC Super Flyweight champ isn't in the Hall Of Fame?
He has the credentials, with a 13-3-1 resume of championship fights..
Has beaten the likes of
Sugar Baby Rojas (twice)
Frank Cedeno
Kiyoshi Hatanaka
Israel Contreras
Paul Ferreri
Jorge Ramirez
He had two spells as champ, successfully defending 7 & 5 times respectively, & virtually all of these defenses were in the other mans back yard..
He fought the best fighters in America, Korea, France, Japan, Thailand and Argentina..
Roman was never KTFO, and was known for getting off the floor to win..
Furthermore, 35 of his 62 opponents never heard the final bell..
He was a powerful straight arm puncher, with a cruel right uppercut..
With all this in mind, I now here a rumour that Sven Ottke is in the running to be inducted this year.. That would be insurmountable proof that God doesn't exist!
What are your thoughts and opinions on this little Mexican Warrior?
