View Full Version : Gatti a No show - Scared of Floyd?
Thats what Floyd says after Gatti didnt show up to a press conference for the fight because he was sick even though he scheduled one for tommorrow. Check it out. This article says that Floyd didnt show up for a the post fight Gatti and Leija interview but that is wrong. Floyd didnt show up to that because Gatti was a no show at his post fight interview the week before against Brusseles. This article is also wrong about Floyd's weight classes. He saw 4 and the guy said 3 but it is 4 because he has fought at 126 also. Also maxboxing has a good article on this press conference also.

One thing that is cool is that I have never heard him and Zoo disrespect eachother. They always give eachother respect. I always hear Zoo says that Floyd is one of the best and he it would be a great fight and Floyd says the same. I would pay anything to see that

Yeah I agree he should have showed up but I mean check, I got sick the day of my final exam so yeah **** does happen even on the worst days. Maybe Gatti did it to piss off Mayweather for all the time he waited as well lol who knows. But I'm sure it's not THAT big of a deal, there shoud be more press conferences in the future and in any case, there's months of promotional time left.

First of DLT your wrong. Gatti didnt have to show up after the Mayweather-Brussles fight, because that was the week before Gatti's fight w/ Leija. The deal was Mayweather gets through Brussles, Gatti get through Leija we have a Gatti Mayweather fight. You cant have a presser for a Gatti - PBF fight until after the outcome of Gatti-JJL. Which Floyd was not there, which is a disrespect. So inturn Gatti gave him some of his own medicine.
Lets not get into an arguement on who was more disrespectful. PBF is probably thee most disrespectful pieces of **** in the game and the ******* wonders why nobody watches his fights.
So it doesnt matter if u like him or not Gatti is the champ, and should in turn be treated like one. Gatti doesnt need PBF. But Gatti does what to prove he can beat the best and that why he will win, so Floyd enjoy ur ****in party w/ Puff daddy, and come to the bricks and get knocked the **** out.

Your wrong. I heard it somewhere or I read a article about it during that time and Gatti was supposed to be there. I think Merchant may have even said it in the interview. I even heard Gatti say it but Gatti said that he didnt show up because Floyd hadnt finalized his leagal troubles. Thats why he didnt say nothing bad about Floyd not showing up in his post fight interview because he knew that he didnt show up.
A guy doesnt have to win first. This happeneds all the time in boxing. Chico and Castillo had there fight announced before the Diaz fight
