I think he is though the board may be revoking (or have revoked already) his license. He's like sixty now! Great fighter though.

For Sure! I saw an interview not so long ago, explaining the reasons for his comeback.. He's got 13 grandchildren, for Christ sake!
He looked about 40.. In fact, I thought is was Lovemore N'Dou at 1st!
Mamby was in very good physical shape to, and I believe he has had one fight, dropping an 8 round DC to a journeyman.. Nevertheless, 'unbelieveable'!!

I'll say! Back in the seventies though he was one hell of a fighter. Typical 'don't-believe-the-record type guy. He was truly the Emmanuel Augustus of the seventies but was actually able to win a title and make some great defenses of it.

A real pure boxer who gave everyone he fought a real tough time of things with his slickness and experience.

Can remember him making a mug of Glenwood Brown, and that I think was in the 80's when Brown or 'Real Beast', as he was known, was considered a top contender..

Yeah man, he was considered a great prospect and ended up with good career. I think that was meant as a step up fight for Brown who at the time was just moving into the title/contender picture as an up an comer. He was undefeated at the time if I remember and Mamby really schooled him.
