William Joppy is looking to take rising star Jermain Taylor to school when the two men meet on HBO's December 4th telecast. The general feeling about Jermain Taylor is that he could be the future or Boxing but, what has he really done? William Joppy shares those feelings.

"I look at Jermain Taylor, and he is a pretty good, strong fighter, and could be a future champion. But he has a lot to learn. I can't see him beating me, I can't even see him going 12 rounds... I can see why they are all building him up. He is a former Olympic medallist, but with the skills he has right now, if he didn't go to the Olympics, they wouldn't even be talking about him. The last three years my career has been in the dormant stage. I can't see it going 12 rounds, he is a good fighter but I am going to knock him out because he has never been hit." said Joppy [details (http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=308)]

i hope he comes back strong as he say hes going to, i just hate how everyone says taylor is the future when he was even tested by a legit middleweight, i still wouldnt call joppy legit since he is coming off retirement, but i hope joppy gets the W

This is the year of the comeback, so I wouldn't be suprised if he does pull it off. I think he may be hungry to make it to the top again, and with all the talk about how great Taylor is going to be, he may come in thinking it will be easy. It will be a good first test for Talyor with a fighter with somewhat of a name, even though it is always associated with Hopkins and Trinidad defeating him.

Poor Joppy. The Trinidad fight knocked him senseless. Then Hopkins knocked him into oblivion. Now Taylor will turn him braindead...sad case.

BTW, Eastman won the fight between the two. He got royally jobbed.....
