Yes, I have to admit it is starting to look quite amazing. I was kind of pissed they were having yet another GP this year, but its hard to complain when you get a look at the possible line up.

Guys like Giant Silva bring the cash that allow for such great things like the GPs. The UFC has mismatches all the time and are just jealous they can't afford someone to bring attention like Giant Silva.

I dont know, if Silva and Igor cross paths in the tourny it may be a different story. Also, there are 2 more spots left, if Arona gets 1, he could take the whole thing decision by decision. Other then that, I expect Silva to win again....

I agree Kaps. I think Igor and Randleman are the "wildcards", maybe even add Vitor to that list. They can beat anybody or lose to somebody they shouldn't as well.

money and marketing, i guess..ufc will do the same if they ever get a big enough draw to where building up fighters actually matters. they could throw all of phil baroni's fights to make him champ, but in the end, what's it gonna matter?

Hahahahahha remember when the UFC tried to build Phil up by giving him a no name Pete Sell. Yeah that was awesome. Good job UFC. Sell will never be back, we know this, he was suppose to lose and didn't, UFC ****ed up again.

I actually like pride more than the ufc, but I dont hate the ufc, because its real atleates, real fights, all the time. If you want freaks go to a circus, but keep them the **** out of the sport....

This thing is going to be unbelievable. They need to get Ortiz, Liddell and Couture in there, that would be unbelievable. Far fetched, but it's like the lottery, long odds but nice just to think about.

I agree, though I wouldn't mind seeing Igor KO his ass. I fear that would turn out to be a boring fight with Kevin getting the takedowns and doing nothing with them.
