What a horrible break for Leben. He was kicking Kenny's ass and then got cut. It was a horrible cut too, they hand no choice but to stop the fight.
There was two times in the first round I thought he was going to K.O Kenny. He had him hurt and I was just waiting for the one big bomb. It didn't happen though. He was still beating Kenny's ass right up until Kenny landed that elbow.

Both middleweight finalists are from team Liddell now. It has to suck being brought back after being eliminated just to get eliminated again.

Yeah, it must. Espically in this fashion because once again Leben will feel like it was taken out of his hands, like he really didn't lose. I will say he feels that way but I am not saying its true. He did lose. A TKO from a cut is unfortunate when it happens, but it happens. It was a nasty nasty cut and with the location it was in, they had no choice.

Maybe it's just me, but I think the whole competition has a funny way of rewarding the wrong people. I mean Kenny just barely--and I mean barely--wins one fight against a guy who was ALREADY eliminated and then he's in the final. Yet a guy like Diego, who has fought twice already and basically dominated the **** out of both of his opponents, still has to fight in a semifinal.
Then there's the whole thing about having the semifinalists fight their teammates. I had a feeling they just threw that in just for the sake of creating a whole lot of drama, even though the move doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
I like the show a lot. But they need to tweak the show's rules for next season to make things fair.

Well it is reality t.v. You need that kind of drama.

The drama is the competition. That other **** is uncessary.

For us it is. Not for the rest of the people that are tuning in. People that are starting to become MMA fans. We need that **** to get their attention. Hopefuly the sport its self will keep their attention.

By forcing teammates to fight each other? By bringing back two guys who were already eliminated? How is that going to retain fans of the show?
Credibility, IMO, should trump "reality TV drama," especially when it concerns a sport that's desperately trying to gain credibility in the mainstream.

The way i see it, the fighting your teammate thing was a smart move. this makes sure the final fight will be one from one team facing one from the other in both divisions. Otherwise chuck or randy would have to decide which of their last two they'd like to send to the other team, just before the final fight. kinda pointless that way.

Good point General, never thought of it that way.
