View Full Version : Please don`t say Kevin McBride!
Kimmy 03-21-2005, 12:30 PM I have just read that the Tyson camp are like 90% sure his June 20th opponent will be Kevin McBride. i saw this trash bum in ireland and he is dredful. He has no skill, is slow and looks border line retarded with his fighting style. If this isn`t another Peter McNealey then what is? i`d have appreciated if tyson took Williams up on the offer of a rematch, that would have sold and meant something, but Tyson doesn`t want it, is he afraid of being KO`ed again, is he a little scared lamb?

Seems like another perfect chance for Tyson to prove:
"That he is the best Heavyweight who ever lived."
 Vomiting.

Lewis: What do you have to say now Fruit-by-the-foot?
Fareastwarrior 03-21-2005, 12:40 PM If Tyson really is a man, he should take on Corrie Sanders for the next bout instead of an Irish journeyman.
Kimmy 03-21-2005, 12:42 PM Corrie Sanders would at least have a pulse!
SacTown1 03-21-2005, 12:45 PM Corrie Sanders would at least have a pulse!
Corrie has a gut, not a pulse
Tyson needs to fight bums, you ARE who you FIGHT
AintGottaClue 03-21-2005, 01:06 PM sanders would beat tyson imo
masterdirector 03-21-2005, 01:22 PM I'm hoping Tyson just goes ahead and gets Williams rematch out of the way. Screw this McBride fight. Get the Williams rematch, then winner of Golota Brewster, then Toney or Ruiz or someone, then Vitali or Rahman. You're an idiot if you really think Tyson has no chance in the heavyweight division.
.You're an idiot if you really think Tyson has no chance in the heavyweight division.
That sentence right there,
proves how clueless and retarded you are.
You call Castillo and Corrales bums.....
but Tyson is not? dumb ****. How can you critiscise me for supposedly "riding Castillo's dick" when you are jumping pogo on Tyson's nuts?
what the hell ever, troll......... :thumbsdow
Kimmy 03-21-2005, 01:27 PM Yes, i agree run, Masterbator is surely wreastling with logic and reason. Another deluded Tyson fan. But not to worry, we know Tyson isn`t going to win a fight against a top 10 fighter and the next time he loses a fight we`ll be hear to remind people like masterbator who told them first!
TyrantT316 03-21-2005, 01:37 PM just like Mosley...Tyson just needs win...vs who? doesn't matter...just a W right now
Kimmy 03-21-2005, 01:39 PM Yes, i agree, just a win, thats why Peter mcNealey, i mean Kevin McBride is being drafting in to provide jelly Mike with that win. Then its a few shot heavies and on to a klitscko beating! Wonderful career for Mike!
Fareastwarrior 03-21-2005, 01:46 PM He is living in the past. Everyone knows that Tyson is no more the Tyson he used to be. He is looking the money for his financial crisis instead of a worldtitle. Look at how Tyson went down against Williams and staring to the referee, even though he suffered a knee injury. A real warrior would try to get up and continue to fight instead of laying at the floor with an uninteresting look. Tyson is finished! Till the day he'll beat a real serious top 10 contender, he will not have my support.

I think McNeeley would even beat McBride. I saw him for the first time a few nights ago, and I can't even believe Tyson would ever have even considered fighting this guy. He looks just as bad if not worse than Tyson's very early opponents. I agree Sanders would be a good opponent for Tyson, maybe too good. Gut or no gut, he has good power, height, and he's a southpaw, something you just don't see everyday in the heavyweight division, but to fight McBride wouldn't prove a goddam thing. A win against that guy is worse than no win at all, IMO.

All of your points concerning Sanders, which are all accurate, are the exact reason why Tyson WON'T fight him, do you think Shelly Finkel is going to be stupid enough to put Mike in there against a guy with an ounce of ability unless it's for the title? They learned their lesson in the Williams fight to never do that again, it'll be the Bum of the Month club for Aluminum Mike until he gets a top 10 ranking again
Kimmy 03-21-2005, 02:35 PM Very true Sactown. Sander`s punch make him very dangerous. He`s like also round about the same age as Tyson so maybe the fight would be too even for the Tyson campt to handle!
dodge 03-21-2005, 02:37 PM Tyson doesn't need a W, Tyson needs the $crilla. It wasn't fun anymore after cus died. It was all about the money. It has been every since.imo

Thanx Kimmy.. BTW, isn't Sanders retired? I thought that I heard that he hung up the gloves.....
Kimmy 03-21-2005, 02:39 PM No, he came back two month ago with a KO victory over some bum. i think he`s angling for one more big payday pr something. Tyson could yet be in his future.....
FrankJack 03-21-2005, 02:55 PM I think that Tyson should go ahead and fight a couple of low level fighters first. From all that I've read, he hasn't gone through the rehab that he was supposed to when he injured his knee. It would be REALLY bad for him if he were to fight a good name and suffer the same injury. He should fight one or two low level fighters and after that, go after some big game. That'd be the smartest thing for him, I think.
Kimmy 03-21-2005, 02:58 PM The smartest thing would be to recover fully, he could blow his knee out against a low level fighter just as easily as say...kevin McBride.
I`d give it to March 2006, then have about 3 or 4 low level fights then consider a top ten fighter!

The reason why Tyson's camp wants McBride is so that Mike gets rid of his 'ring rust' and gains some confidence by winning (hopefully) by KO. I think that Mike can stage a successful comeback if he gets a few fights under his belt and stays active.
In the beginning of Mike's career he was fighting at least 10 fights a year. Even if Mike can manage to fight three times this year, I think he could be a legimate contender. Although my gut tells me not to get my hopes up.
One last point: Champions and legimate contenders today don't seem to fight as much as they did during Muhammad Ali's era. When Ali was around he was fighting an average 4-5 fights per year. So, why are fighters like V.Klitscho,Byrd,Toney,Ruiz, and Tyson so reluctant to fight more often? Wouldn't they earn more money?
Kimmy 03-21-2005, 03:46 PM Its not the fighters. Its the medical law now that they can`t and also the big fighters have big fights. They take months to promote so in fact you make more money fighting less because the efforts are put into the promotion and build up of an event and not in the ring!
Kid Achilles 03-21-2005, 06:15 PM McBride may be the slowest, most ponderous man I've ever seen in all of sports. Peter McNeely would definitely kick this guy's ass. It would take a miracle for him to survive a round with Butterbean. That's how bad he really is.
I watched him fight on Friday night, not expecting much, and was sickened by how awful he really was. I've seen slow motion video of the speedier fighters (Mayweather, RJJ) move quicker than McBride.
Shaolin Bushido 03-21-2005, 08:49 PM If Tyson really is a man, he should take on Corrie Sanders for the next bout instead of an Irish journeyman. It's not about manhood dude. Tyson's an old guy now; it would be stupid to just offer himself up in bouts he can't win.
the giant one 03-21-2005, 09:01 PM A shot Tyson will put away Mcbride quicker than he did Mcneely. kevin looked beyond abysmal in that FNF main event
joeboxer 03-21-2005, 09:21 PM In McBrides defense, it was St.Patty's and he is Irish so you know he was super drunk during the fight. In between rounds 2 and 3 I'm pretty sure the water bottle had beer in it, anybody else catch that?

I don't have anything against Kimmy and I am not trying to start trouble but does anyone find it funny that Kimmy's posts and threads are all about Mike Tyson? If you hate Tyson so bad why would you devote so much to talking about him? Hell I even spotted Kimmy on TysonTalk.com LOL :D

Man how stoned is Sweet Pea in that picture?? That's a classic bro

I'm pretty sure that Sanders is retired again after hurting his back a in training a couple of months ago.
