View Full Version : Scary Women in Movies
LuKahnLi 03-21-2005, 10:57 AM Hey, sorry I haven't been on here much. Been real busy, lookin for jobs and what not since I graduate soon. Anyways.....
I saw the movie Audition by Takashi Miike this weekend.
This film had the scariest woman I have ever encountered in a film.
Every instant she was on screen I could feel the hairs on my neck stand up....not in a good way either. I am a tough person to shock or scare with a movie, this one DID so. In spades.
ANyways, my list of the scariest movie women....
1-Nurse Ratchett from 'One Flew over The Cuckoos Nest'
2-Asami Yamazaki from 'Audition'
3-Linda Blair from 'The Excorcist'
4-Annie Wilkes from 'Misery'
5-Go Go Yubari from 'Kill Bill' (She's still cute though)
6-Elle Driver from 'Kill Bill Vol. 2'
7-Go Go Yubari from 'Kill Bill' (She's still cute though)
8-Hedra Carlson from 'Single White Female'
9-Alex Forest from 'Fatal Attraction'
10-Ida Smith from 'Motel Hell

Bombardier 03-21-2005, 11:28 AM This isn't a movie but Susie Essman on Curb Your Enthusiasm is hilariously psychotic. She plays the on-and-off wife of Larry David's manager, Jeff. When she gets mad...wow, she gets mad.

...Yeah that chick is hilarious and she seems to really enjoy that role. I love her F bomb tirades.

wherever there's money to be made, there's always a ****ty sequel - highlander ( God, 2 and 3 were some of the worst movies i've ever seen, and soon to be carlito's way ( this bothers me more cause carlito is one of my all time favorite movies )

Yeah man, the first Cube was so different, so damn wild, I loved it!! but not long into the second one (I didnt even know there was a second one!) I thought it's either the acting or the story lines..one of the two (or both) suck something fierce!
Many people are pissed about Carlito's Way..I remember B-dog raising hell over that! Man, I miss him :(

There is much more to it than that. Just the way the movie draws you in, takes you in one direction then suddenly COMPLETELY changes gears and sends you off into another. Half of its intensity comes from its pacing.
It is Takashki Miike's best film.....that I have seen anyways.

Well, I only heard about it on VHS..that 100 Scariest Moments (I was bored, and since horror is my fav. I thought if there were any that I had missed, they would show some names on that show) and all it showed was some of the messed up stuff she was doing to him!! Poor guy..talk about pure hell!

I'm glad to hear that , cause although I love horror, there is one subject matter that makes me very uncomfortable..and that's torture. It doesnt matter if it's torture of humans or animals, for some reason it bugs me....so thats good to know. I'll have to rent that soon
I can't believe nobody mentioned Rebeca De Morneys(sp?) character in The Hand that Rocks the Cradle. Now that chick was evil!!
chazz2 03-24-2005, 04:59 PM Yes definately the girl from the grudge and linda blair from excorcist! There is a girl from the show 24 but I cannot remmeber her name, she was from the first three seasons and she some how kept finding er way back into the show.

Her name was Nina. The first season of the show she worked for CTU as one of the 'good guys' but come to find out she was always working for the other side (whoever that happened to be, depending on the season!) and was pretty much the devil incarnate. Jack finally killed the *****, after she killed his wife and committed several more crimes! :D
FuryDragon 03-25-2005, 12:41 AM The young girl in The Ring was terrifying. Simple as that.

Samara...she's supposed to have a much bigger role in Ring 2, as in they will show her much more, etc. Should be much better than the first one (had better be!!!)
