Man, I used to love waking up on Tuesdays, going to Best Buy or Target and buying albums that I had been waiting for...

But really, there are no albums that I am hyped up about....

BISD will be a solid album and I like 50, but I really could care less about this album....

Same goes for all of the other **** out there....

The only albums that I am hyped for are Wale's new album, and Nipsey Hussle's new album...

Other than that, there really aint **** out there on the horizon....

I didnt even enjoy BP3 all that much...

I dont know, Hip Hop has nothing to get excited about right now, hopefully this climate changes....

You just gotta dig deeper than usual at the moment mate, listen to people like Cyne, CunninLynguists, The Roots, Nas, Elzhi, Reks, Illogic etc. They're all bringing out good music but most just aren't mainstream at all.

^^Gotta agree with tailormade...All diffrent types of hip hop sucks balls right now..Theirs a hand full of good artist putting out good music. The only good artist are mostly vet's that are putting out good music like wu,face,doom q tip etc....The new artist are pathetic but to the newer generation it's fine like truth who said hip hop just had a good year. Nothing wrong that's his opinion but for us who like the mid 90's good hip hop it does 0 for us. I use to love making beats now it's hard to get insipred by this bull****..mainstream or not

and then a little while after "Mic Tyson" is dropping.

PUT's "Carried Away" is coming out soon also.

Blue Scholars released one this year.

I think Paz's "Assasin's Creed" is supposed to come out, not too into him but he's good at what he does musically and Stoupe is crazy.

And Snowgoons is dropping "The Trojan Horse" on the 27th.

Plus there's Cormega and OB4CL II.

Not such a bad year, but certainly not the best.

There's just a lotta bad ****, but if you filter it out, there's still good artists making music.

I'm fine with OB4CL II and a few other good albums for 2009.

Paz is cool. He's good at making some emotional/biographic songs too, not just boom-bap-I'm- gonna-kill-your-family ****.
