Would Pac had a chance of a KO like he said or would the more realistic view be that Erik had the most power so if anything, he wouldve KO Pac with the other gloves.

Another question is that do you think the cut bothered Pac and couldve cost him to lose at all

Erik Clearly had more power in his punches that or eriks chin is just bull**** lol.

I think Reyes gloves would have favored Pac, as Erik has brittle hands and they chose the more padded gloves for a reason. However, I still think Erik would have won the fight in this particular fight, because, what really caused Pac to lose was the supposed headbutt which caused a cut (unless someone can prove it was not a headbutt).

The cut was vicious and Pac had trouble seeing out of that eye the whole fight I would think, as Pac claims.

Another issue is Pac should have blizted Erik from the get-go. This has worked well for him in the past. He wanted to try and show his boxing skills in the early rounds but it bit him in the ass in my opinion.

I think in a rematch it would be closer, but I'd still favor Morales because I cannot really be sure about the cut. I am not Pacquiao and I cannot know for sure what would happen in a rematch. I can only base my thoughts on what I've read and heard, etc.

In my opinion the gloves wouldn't have made a difference. It was EM's boxing skills that made the difference.

Of course the cut bothered Pac, but I doubt if the result would have been different if he didn't had it. (I would say the fight might have been a little more closer with EM still winning)

I know im not gonna get any respect from my answer cus i was rooting for Morales but,

Reyes glove could have easily favored Morales also. Before the headbutt, Pac was only being effective when Morales let him be and was pac was stunned more often than Morales. Lets not forget a harder glove makes both fighters punches harder.

Most of pacquiaos punches do to Morales moving and getting close to him were short arm punches not really getting much leverage. From a distance Morales was making him miss a lot and countering him.

If it wouldn't have made a difference, it wouldn't have been an issue. I don't know what the outcome would be but I DO believe Pac would have inflicted more damage than he did which is a fair statement I guess. I was just telling my self, if Morales was hurt by a big left to teh body in the end of the first and wobbled in the 12th, would thinner gloves make a diff?

I am a huge fan of both...but in the end...Pac could not do what he wanted regardless of gloves...Morales did his thing...

nah it was a dissapointment that it was even an issue im sure people are pissed off about it.

Morales also wobbled back to this corner in the 6th was it? At least that's what Jim Lampley said, I don't think Morales was focused to be sure. I'd definitely say that this fight was amazing though doesn't feel so complete inside. Sure I know Manny lost, Morales outboxed him, I commend him, though I want to know if it would have been different with the gloves and no headbutt.
