I've read all the FAQ's and I dont see any mention of this. Is there something special I have to do to access the torrent section?

You have to have 25 posts, and then PM the guys in charge. They then check your 25 posts to make sure they aren't spam, and stuff. You'll probably need 26, considering your first post was a waste. Here's a link: http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/showthread.php?p=533371#post533371
