Andy will never fight for the commonwealth as he fought for ireland in the olympics so that rules him out. if he wins this fight that puts him in with a shot against macklin for the EBU mw title or if macklin gets his shot at a world title andy gets to fight for vacant title....

The republic of ireland is not part of the commonwealth so we dont compete for their belts. I know andy was born in london but he chose to fight for ireland rather than england as his parents are irish born and he to considers himself irish.
