This morning I rode my bike to the gym. I did my thing for a few hours and left, from there I went to the grocery store and started on my trip back home. Half way home I took a break from biking and pulled into an Applebees parking lot to sit for a bit.

While i was sitting Some guy stormed out of the restaurant with his girlfriend dragging her by the hair, he pulled her though the lot and was hitting her. I kinda just stood there watching pissed. there was some other guy watching laughing doing nothing. I wanted to hit them both, and i was confident i could have knocked out the boyfriend. But i didnt. I dunno if it was me being tired, or scared of getting arrested for fighting or what.

I just feel like a complete wimp for not kicking the **** out of some guy when i could and should have. Comments?

You definitely should have done something, I don't understand how people can just sit there and watch a woman getting beaten up. I don't necessarily mean you should have ran in with shining armour on and epically whooped his ass, but you shoulda at least yelled and pulled him off her or something. Hope she was OK.

I probably would have punched him, or shielded the woman or tried to just protect her in some way.

Fighting someone in ANY situation is never a good idea. Once, I seen some guys robbing this small mon 'n' pops liquor store. As the guys were running out I tried tripped the second guy... the first guy stopped in his tracks and pulled a gun on me...

I aint even lieing when I say I was scared. But more than anything I couldn't believe that mother fuccer pulled a gun on me... I was scared and pissed at the same time.

Anyways, you never know what that guy is capable of or if he has any kind of weapons on him. If everything was 'honky dory' in this world we wouldn't have to worry about **** like that. But the world isn't a perfect place and there's a lot of crazy/stupid people.

Again, it sucks to say it but I do believe you did the right thing. Probably should've called the cops though.

Nah,this other girl who ran up about 30 seconds after they passed called the cops. I stuck around for 10 more minutes to wait for them to show them which direction he dragged her off in, but they hadnt showed up, a couple other people were there and were waiting for the cops as well but i ended up leaving, and yes, i ride my bike everywhere. and yes you can get arreseted for punching some guy who was hitting his girlfriend. He could even sue you. Because the world is a grimy place.

in a situation like that its not so much about kicking the guys ass since in some states just threatening some one is enough for assault but more so about getting laid/protecting the chick. If shes ugly just interupt them if he throws a few punches back away push him around a little like push him to the ground then back away dodge dodge push grab his punches grab his forearm throw him off balance tire him out and push him to the ground everytime he falls and has to get back up is just draining his energy and if you can last for more then 2 mins more then likely he will barely be able to breath after that. If shes hot its the same deal but make sure you take atleast 2 hits perhaps even take some damage. so now not only did you save her but she feels kinda guilty for your injurys and wants to make it up to you with alittle bow chica wow wow you know.
