Don Flamenco 10-07-2009, 04:00 AM Looks good. Remember to throw your jab from your chin. You are keeping it low and throwing it more from chest level during your double jabs. Briong it right back to your chin every time. Also, I noticed the right to the body right to the head combination... try doing it with your left rear hand but make sure you have your right hand up while you are doing it. i3raintwo 10-07-2009, 04:02 AM You are doing what I use to do all the time(I trained in Muay Thai first) before I started using a boxing coach, which is stuffing my punches. You need to get your distance with your punches so you catch it with the snap instead of getting in too close and throwing those straight and getting no extension on them. Another thing I was taught was to keep busy if you're just moving around try throwing the jab in different angles. Keep it up! Because I am first and foremost a Muay Thai guy. It's the first one I picked up and then moved on to boxing, lol. PAC-MANIA 10-07-2009, 05:30 AM just remember to keep your chin to your chest and your arms tight to the body ready to explode. but great work Domey 10-07-2009, 05:34 AM You are short to begin with, and you are punching down. I would suggest throwing upwards with your punches. You're pushing your left straight as well. Snap it more. As others have said, you are crowding yourself. I don't think you got full extension on one single punch. Back up a bit, you almost want to be a inch away from the bag when you are fully extended, that way you can properly step into your punches. Not to bad though. Keep at it. But, the big *diot that I am ended up accidentally deleting all my vids/pics that was on my camera while fussin' with it. Literally erased everything, including the boxing stuff, including boxing events I attended, had alot of great clips of PAC-Hatton, etc... Currently, I am not a gym member, I cancelled it 'cause I was basically averaging once a week of going to the gym(before school started). And now, I doubt if I would've even bother going once a week w/ school and work. I don't know, we'll see, I might get the itch again. Alexandros 10-08-2009, 01:01 PM long way to go, keep training and in the coming months when u see them again u will say that your old vidz are funny to watch. killacash 10-08-2009, 03:16 PM You must be wealthy with winning gloves and shoes. :( im poor bernardotelo 10-08-2009, 04:23 PM i can't see if your puching with alot of strenght The Noose 10-08-2009, 05:19 PM Depends what we're comparing it to. I voted solid because its better than most guys on the street could do. Decent technique. But not much power or fluidity. Not bad. But Pac isnt losing any sleep. supRa 10-08-2009, 05:59 PM yooo u got a nice style!! make them look nicee nice gloves/shoes!! |
