I dont think that is BT. I think that is Somliman's management talking. You know that BT wouldnt do that. Soliman is solid but nothig special. X was supposed to fight Sturm and Taylor was going to fight Soliman

Soliman is willing to bet his purse in that case.

Is Hopkins vs. Taylor really going to fall through?
If it does do you think he'll fight:
a)Left Hook Lacy
b)Sturm
c)Soliman

I saw him fight Raymond Joval (Vargas's next opponent) a year ago, and it was a total shutout with a KD, 120-107. Do I think that he can beat Hopkins? No.

He actually lost to Solliman too, earlier in his career so I wouldn't exactly say that means a whole lot.

Huh? I don't know if you saying that Joval got a hometown decision, and I haven't seen their first fight, but officially Soliman lost that fight by a score of 114-114, 112-116, and 113-116.

I just meant that Joval wasn't that much worse than Soliman.

solimon is rather ordinary and no wear as technicaly skilled as hopkins. He poses no threat.........Rockin'

Soliman can do one thing though - make anyone look sloppy. He is very akward, but not in Hopkins class.

I wouldn't mind seeing Lacy v Hopkins. I think Hopkins would win.

A tough decision for Hopkins (against Soliman) but at least Sam won't be as tentative as Eastman was (what a disappointment that was!)....I'm not fussed about seeing this however; Taylor needs to take the Hopkins fight before the old man retires IMO, or his subsequent achievements will be tarnished...

If 120-107 isn't that much worse than Soliman, I don't know what is.
