Tu Pai 10-06-2009, 06:52 PM Close fight, could've gone either way, I dont think I saw you throw one body punch, not bad for six fights.
RightCross94 10-07-2009, 07:58 AM Agreed, close fight. Could have gone to the body more as gerardpr said
whats your record
Czarek 10-07-2009, 11:48 AM yeah would also interest me, what is your record?

the kid i was boxing had 9 won 7 so i was pleased i did so well against someone who on paper should be alot better than me, given me a lot of confidence, this season im gonna start winning i know it
Richie-G 10-07-2009, 01:16 PM whats all your records then
mrboxer 10-07-2009, 02:12 PM you need to throw combos and start off with your jab, double up on your jab, feint more, catch more punches with your glove you seem to take a lot of punches of the side of your head and your chin, you seem flatfooted you have to move more, what is your record have you a win yet:boxing:

mines 4-3, done a few exhibitions too
records are very deceptive, you are easily better than your record indicates. On the other hand i've seen guys who are 5-0, 6-0 etc who are sloppy brawlers who haven't fought anyone good
Richie-G 10-08-2009, 12:26 PM thanks for that, yeah i know im not too bothered bout my record as i know it will get better eventually
mgkirkpatrick 10-08-2009, 12:31 PM haven't watched the fight yet, but just thought i'd say i rate your attitude, man. losses at this stage mean nothing.. just keep improving. the Ws will come.

P4PKING_2010 10-08-2009, 01:34 PM Good work. Close fight. Like others have said throw body shots and try doubling up on the jab to get inside more.
Yeah some gyms would have their fighters boxing **** people to get padded records and make their gym look better. Whilst others like yours have their boxers in tough fights which is where they will improve the most.

Spot on. At my gym we fight anyone (well not literally but you know) Hell we've got fights today and we got a kid in his first fight fighting a dude with 10 fights.....He could have easily ran through a few of the hopeless local kids and gone 2-0 or 3-0, but he's going straight to another state to fight a guy whos got experience. (the guy isnt too great, he beat me by a pint or two a few months back but he was two weight divs above me, this kid is his size)
Richie-G 10-09-2009, 11:21 AM thanks for the tips you lot, where abouts do you fight then?

did an exhibition last night with a guy who weighed 60kg ( i weighed in at 51) lol, he was jacked up and muscular too. I outboxed him pretty easy though
