We always talk about pounds, heights speed.. let's talk about looks. Who is the boxer that has the dirty harry effect... the scariest looking...

I will say it was Marquez. He has the looks that you will surely won't mess around. http://thefastertimes.com/boxing/files/2009/09/juan_manuel_marquez.jpg

I remember when he was knocked out by Pacquiao then he stands slowly... very very slowly... like he meant to kill pacquiao right after... it scares the **** out of me. :peeright:

the next is Tyson.

Out of interest, does your mommy leave the nightlight on? Does she tuck you in tight to bed? Does she check under your bed and in the closet for the boogieman?

I hope you are a child or a woman as no respectable grown man could possibly fear somebody who drinks their own urine.

I felt the same way when I happened to come across one of your youtube videos, absolutely disgusting.

I had no idea the elephant man was alive or that he could let himself go like that.

Duran's eyes looked like that of Charles Manson and Richard Ramirez. Simply chilling and filled with hate.

I don't put much stock in looks, but Duran and Liston were frightening.

As great a fighter as both are, I don't see anything frightening in their eye's, only dollar signs at this point. That doesn't detract from their talent, just an observation.

There were guys in earlier era's much harder than the men mentioned, but their look just didn't convey it. Joe Gans and Sam Langford spring to mind immediately

Maybe, but I've never seen a fighter afraid to even get in the ring with them before the fight even started. Sorry, but those guys don't hold a candle to the fighters who were and are considered the most scary.

I don't think either one is afraid of the other. Unfortunately their fear comes from the economics of todays fight scene.

you didn't get it do you? :nutkick: have you seen the pacquiao marquez fight when he k.o. marquez then marquez stands up very slowly... it would be different if he stands right away but instead he get up very slowly. it scares pacquiao :sombrero: everyone noticed that... if you are pacquiao i'm sure you'll pee in your pants. I think pacquiao will knock out marquez in 10th or 11th round if he didn't stand up veryyy slowly... but he did stand up veeerry slowly... he looks really seriously pissed at pacquiao man... study the tape.

Duran, Tyson, Liston, Foreman

and Pacquiao is his own way, just knowing he was coming to fight and that his speed was very unpredictable.

Can't think beyond Liston at his peak, problem is I guess most know him after Ali showed he had feet of clay if you pardon the pun. But before!!!!
As for the most frightening eyes Roy Pretty Boy Shaw an unlicensed fighter in the UK in the 70's. You Yanks Google him and let me know what you think, one frightening man Pretty Boy.
Ironically had the pleasure of meeting Liston in the 60's and have met Shaw and both were very charming gentlemen. Thank god! :)

I love "The devils rejects", one of my favorite movies. Halloween 2 was good to. The kid who plays young Micheal Myers creeps me out. I've also heard "Paranormal activity" was excellent. That's another I'd like to see.
