I dont know about you guys but i think these protoype pictures look pretty awsome to me , but who knows if this will be the finished version ... any opinions on wut they should look like or if you think these look pretty good ?

I agree, the xbox 2 looks HOT

The Xbox II looks nice...a friend of mine told me that he knows a guy that for $140 he can take the Xbox and add a 80g hard drive where you can save the games you rent on the Xbox and also make it a dvd-burner.

Btw I heard that the Xbox II might come with Tivo!

Xbox 2 is supposed to be a home entertainment system with games as an added feature, it will present its own operating system as well.

Considering that Xbox still has tremendous potential the Xbox 2 will not deliver, it will be a sad day for Microsoft. Sega rushed the dreamcast in the typical "Hey I am going to release it months ahead of competitors to gain an edge" Well other companies saw what the Dreamcast was capable of and took advantage of it. (remember the dreamcast although one kick ass system was put to death, because it was to compete with PS2 but couldnt) Sony upgraded the ps2 to counter the dreamcast and make it seem more powerful.

Bad move on Xbox releasing it this fall....Bad bad bad move, Xbox still hasnt been pushed to the limits.

On a side note, That isnt a legit ps3 prototype picture that was confirmed in gamepro. But cool none the less.

ive heard that if you trade in your old x-box and your controllers and 3 games , u will get the x-box for 20 $ or sumthin like that , ( i dont think its true but who knows ), and the release date was said to be any where from this fall to summer of 2006 or later . So i dont know if it will be realeased this year , but i dont really care when cause im still having fun with x-box 1 :cool:

Thats excatly the bull**** I hated hearing. I don't care how thin my system is. I want features. How much of a ***** do you have to be to care about how much your game system weighs? I have a tiny little shelf where I keep my **** and I still have room for a VCR, a digital cable box and my x-box.

Its not a laptop, you aren't going to be taking it with you on a regular basis.

Those pics look nice...But I want to know why there are not that many boxing games out??? ANd NONE FOR PC!! Damn.. EA should get moving on this...Does anyone else play sports games on PC? Madden and NBA Live are good but hopefully they will get boxing up here soon...

I agree that its too early to come out with the PS3 or Xbox 2 yet. The rumors are strong for both to come out this Xmas. GTA San Andreas just proved that there's still plenty that can be done with both PS2 and Xbox. Fight Night Round 2 did as well.

I'm really not so hyped about a new PS3 simply because it'll still be forever before any games I'd want would be available for the PS3, say the next gen GTA game or the next boxing game.

Gladiator, you're kidding on why there's not a lot of boxing games right. Boxing isn't in demand enough. Fight Night 2 sucks compared to Victorious Boxers 2, just by the way.

The first, X-Box Next, is not going to have a hard drive. There is a hard drive version, and a PC version which is scheduled for next year. I believe the HD and HDless versions will be released together.

You can put a bigger HD in the current XBOX, but you need a modchip. So, if you like gaming on Xbox Live! I wouldn't suggest it.
