The fight ended a draw. His opponent was supposedly a fairly accomplished amateur boxer also making his debut.

I knew that just because he showed good hands in mma, that it wound't automatically mean he would be a good boxer.

He sucks at boxing , how the hell did the judges declare it a Draw? His opponent was nailing with jab the whole fight. Aleks needs to stop touching his nose, learn how to block punches and how to throw the jab. His opponent beat him with very basic boxing and not taking any risk. It looked like a sparring session.

I think Aleks and his brother have good genetics and could have good hands if they worked with a real good boxing trainer. A Jack Mosley would even be enough to improve their skills.

Aleks lost every single round of that fight. Getting a draw was ridiculous.

Aleks E looked 10x worse than I thought. And thats saying something considering I didnt have much expectations to begin with.

After seeing the sparring video of Fedor pretty much taking Aleksander to school, I knew he couldn't go too far in boxing. His style of striking works fairly well in MMA but all he can do in boxing is block punches with his face.

I guess this dispels two myths

MMA fighters can box
MMA fighters can't take a punch

Whatever you say about Aleksander's performance, you can't deny that the man took his beating without blinking.

haha how was that a draw? Terrible performance, least he stuck in there but still...terrible. His style works well for MMA, but straight boxing? No...

LOL, wow. It's not like the other guy is a skillful boxer either. And to think i'v debated the credibility of MMA's striking with people in this forum and they specifically pointed to Aleks as one of the highest quality MMA/Boxers in the sport. :rofl:
