Hoe did this happen? I never seen the fight, and it baffles me that this could happen. I knew it was controversial but damn. Who do yall think won it? Can someone email the fight? Thanks for any feedback.

Ruiz might have actually pulled it out. Golota dominated the first half but Ruiz`s tactics caused Golota all sorts of problems going into the late rounds. Golota could not figure out a way around Ruiz holding and one to two grab etc...
Its a shame, i thought a draw was about right afterward so a close ruiz pts win will do i guess. it wasn`t a robbery though!

Ruiz had to win like 9 or 10 rounds though to get the decision, given the fact that he was down twice and deducted a point (I would think). Surely he did not win that many, or did he?

I would hate to say it, but Ruiz did win almost every round.

It wasn't pretty, and the corner of Ruiz was creating a ruckus, but at the end of the day, Golata was not working enough.

There comes a point where punching and holding is better then getting punched and being held.
