If Hopkins is right, Trinidad’s victory over Wright would clear a path for the rematch that for awhile at least, looked as if it might never happen. I ask if Hopkins thinks Trinidad wants to fight him again.

Well what Hopkins says doesn't make a difference, in the end whoever is meant to win will win. Why can't he just say his opinion without being eaten alive for it. On the flipside I bet if he would have said, he thinks Winky Wright will win, and that Trinidad has nothing left, people would say, he doesn't want anymore of Trinidad so he wants Winky to win. My point is the guy is just saying his opinion, what does his opinion have to do with influencing who will win? If anything what he says, might help Winky put in his mind to "stay smart" and don't get over-confident.

I'm so glad thats the case, I hope Trinidad gets through Winky, so he can get another crack at the Middleweight king :cool: .

I think Winky should be able to beat Trinidad based on his skills but B-Hop called it right. The personality involved will make this fight not the skills. Winky will trade eventually instead of out-boxing Trinidad and he will lose because of it.

BHop could be right. I could see that happening but I'm still goin with Winky actually earning the victory and them GIVING it to Trinidad.

Can't wait.

Of course Bernard would say Tito wins. Every time Tito gets a victory it makes Bernard look that much better. I'll bet that Bernard hopes tito takes over the middleweights after he is gone, just to prove how great Bernard was for beating him.

What Hopkins says will not change the result but is the opinion of someone who knows first hand about what hes talking. And regarding that Hop wants to fight Tito for the big $ his wish may come true since the WBC announced that the winner of Tito-Winky will fight Hopkins. For Hopkins the decision is between ending his career with and easy win but little money or with a hard worked win (possible lost) and lots of money. We shall see what he decides.

as much as i want tito to win, i gotta with winky too. Now bhop has provided the blueprint on how to beat him, winky will do the same, maybe not as well. i an also see trinidad getting a contraversial decision which would be bad for boxing.
