View Full Version : What would you rather have in Pac/EM?
oldgringo 03-16-2005, 12:28 PM Would you rather see 4-5 rounds of an all out, savage brawl where one guy finally unleashes a devastating KO punch?
OR
Would you like to see a 12 round, tactical battle with good action in spurts, and a TKO in the final round to add some drama?
I'd personally go for the latter but whatever floats your boat...

A Classic 12 Round Bout Of Blood And Gore, Similar To A Gatti-ward
Sir_Jose 03-16-2005, 12:30 PM Dont matter as long as Morales comes out on top.

HE HE HE, WHERE'S THE FUN IN THAT ...
m00ks 03-16-2005, 12:35 PM 12 round of action packed battle always better than a short stoppage.

Less than 12 is the best. The whole 12 rounds is too risky for Pacman. The best he can get is a draw. Less than 12 removes the judges from the picture.

But i'm not talking about 12 rounds of action packed battle. I'm talkin about 12 rounds of a more relaxed, measured pace with good action in short spurts...every couple rounds or so. Ultimately, a TKO comes in the final round to give it drama.
as opposed to
Hagler/Hearns for 4-5 rounds.

You mean ala Tito-Hokins?

If the fight reaches the 12th round, I don't think anybody will give up. Even if you give Manny and Erik a gun in the 12th, none of them will die in that round. Maybe after the fight.

Yeah but without the one sided beating.
mic573 03-16-2005, 12:51 PM I just want it to be a great fight worthy of the hype which I think it will be.

It'd be ok. I would like to see a Morals-Barerra 1 with a late TKO.

Morales and Barerra are too even. No way you can see a TKO between the 2, even if they go for 5 fights.

Oh trust me there will be plenty of fun in that

Morales can knock him out if he weren't so stubborn.
manila_assasin 03-16-2005, 01:46 PM I would rather have a KO than a 12 round. I don't really trust the judges giving it to MP when it gets down to that.

You're on the ball. Just like my feeling.

That's what Barerra was telling himself too.
