What do you think were the best sports games for NES.

1. Tecom super bowl (still fun to play that game)

2. Mike Tyson's punchout (also still play that game)

Those are my 2 best.

RBI baseball is far and away the best NES sports game.

After that you have TSB and BOS.

Your talking about T&C Surf. That was a cool game. Man, T&C shirts were the ****...

Heres some of my favorites

Mike Tyson's
RBI baseball
Little League Baseball
Bases Loaded
Ring King
RC Pro Am
Excite Bike

I think Ring King was a better boxing game than Mike Tysons. Not as much fun though.

I hated NES Sports games, never got into them. So Punch-Out.

I can still beat Tyson in 2 rounds easily. Just dodge and punch with the same arm that he threw. Wash, rinse, repeat. You can drop him twice in the first round. A couple times I managed to get him out of there in the first by TKO. There's a way to get a KO in the first but I never pulled it off.

Yeah, tecmo super bowl was great. My friend told me there were 2 versions of punchout: Mike Tysons, and just regular Punchout, where the last fighter was Sandman. I'm not sure if that's true? Plus, Blades of Steel, it was a hockey game. Great stuff

Actually the one with Mr. Sandman at the end was the original arcade version. There was a second arcade version too called Super Punchout and Super Machoman was the champ.

There was another version of punchout for nintendo that came out after Tyson's rape conviction. It was exactly the same except for the end guy was a white guy called Mr. Dream.

Oh yeah... There was Super Punchout for super nintendo and the end guys were these two ballheaded brothers. It was ok but it was more of a little kids game, instead of a big kids game. ;)

OH yeah it was Mr. ****in Dream. I spent 6 months getting to the end of that game, honing my skillz and what not, all the time the only thing keeping me going was a shot at the man, Mike Tyson.

Then I get there and you know its not even him, its this white guy. I put that **** down and never played again. It took a couple years to even get over it to the point to where I can talk about it without crying.

Some people might think I'm not serious. Why would it take me 6 months to get to the end of a game like that. Well truth is I am really bad at Nintendo, I got my hand run over by a car when I was little and I can't really move my fingers so good. That is why it was such an accomplishment for me to finally get there. Its also why I box, because I can't play not basketball or no baseball.

Oh, and if anyone doesn't know and is interested, the Gamecube version of Fight Night rd. 2 comes with Super Punchout, the one for Super NES.

I dunno, I have fight night 04 for ps2 and rnd 2 for gamecube, and I didn't find it all that bad, but I guess it's probably just how much you're comfortable with the controller in the first place..

I use both, usually more tpc because of the haymakers. Most people do have a problem with it though, when I play against people that's the first thing they bring up. I don't really notice though, probably just cause I'm used to it.
