I think Golota showed heart in the Bowe fights. A hell of a lot of heart. Just he lost his head in that fight and was not thinking clearly. Him getting disqualified just had to do with him reverting to primitive instinct than lack of heart.

Against Tyson he did make a joke of himself though, but he may have actually injured his skull or neck in that fight so I dont know, maybe his quitting was justified.

I dont think Golota is a no heart fighter because he has gone to war several times in his career. In the Bowe fight II he was hurt severely but he got up off the canvas and knocked Bowe down in the next round. He did the same thing against POuha.

Why out of those three do you try to defend Golota? He has the least amount of heart by far. Its not even close.

Anybody that saw Bowe Golota II, Golota fought on nothing but heart in the second Bowe Fight. He was hit by like 7 consecutive full power riddick Bowe roundhouses. He got up and he was out on his feet for like 1.5 mineuts of the round getting pounded. Then the next round he got himself together and came at Bowe hard, knocked him down and Bowe was never the same after that second knockdown in the Golota fight. He was wobbly for the rest of fight, rest of his life.

Theres no way that you can say that Golota showed no heart. How did Wlad Klichko show no heart as well. When?

And why did he throw that low blow combination to finish it again? And I can't think of Wlad or Moorer ever quitting let alone quitting 4 times.

those are all pretty weak choices. Wlad showing no heart confuses me. He has had some odd endings to his recent fights, but I wouldn't say heart has anything to do with it.

Golota is just a horrible choice.

Moorer is out of left field too.

people say Vitali has no heart because of the Byrd fight, but I think those were odd circumstances too. None of us should judge what a guy like Vitali does. He had a torn rotator cuff for god's sake. Thats like saying a pitcher has no heart because they don't pitch with a torn rotator cuff.

what do you mean that bowe was never the same?, did his brain was hurt or something?. and i want to change my list to:
1.wlad(ko by sanders and he didnt came back that is weak)
2.golota
3.tyson(even though he had problem outside the ring, he still had the power to ko douglas)

Im just curious Slip, why in the hell does Wlad have less heart than his brother. Quitali left the Byrd fight, and recently pulled out of the Rahman fight. Wladimir on the other hand, has been knocked down repeatedly by opponents, and got back up. At least he showed SOME heart....maybe not a solid chin like his brother however.

I suppose the meaning of "Heart" is open for interpretation.

I always viewed it as things like:

being knocked down and getting up, not backing down from fights with serious opponents, not quitting, Being willing to trade punches

I suppose Vitali conquers in that final area however.

i think both wlad and moorer have shown lots of heart by getting back up after repeated knockdowns and taking a beating, if thats not heart I dont know what is (wlad against sanders, moorer against holy)

to me not having heart is quiting when the going gets rough.. like maybe when golota quit against tyson....

Moorer showed heart by staying in that Jirov fight the whole way and coming back to KO him.

Now Evander Holyfield. Theres a guy with no heart... :D

he knew he was gassed out and knew he couldn't deal with pressure and took the easy way out. He wanted to get DQ'd so he could go home early.

and vs tyson he knew he couldnt get those lowblows in without losing an ear, so he just said **** it and quit. isnt rocket science.

dont get me wrong, golata is a good fighter, good jab good right hand, determined in his training, true workhorse, but lacks heart in the big bouts, thats his only problem. where he was from ****ed him up in the end, alot like meldrick.

when wlad goes down once, he gets up unsure of himself. compare him to nigel benn, benn would get KD and give it all he has..wlad doesnt do that, he'll get stuck and do just enough to keep his guy off him

wlad, as soon as he gets punched, changes his entire style if you watch his fights closely. when the guy gets stuck with a decent blow he changes his offense. guys with heart get punched and decide to taste your blood (gatti)

i'm not going to bring up his quitting on the stool

a man who gives excuse after excuse lacks heart and character

vitali never gaves as many excuses as wlad

the thing about moorer is he has excuses, excuses, excuses.

a guy like that lacks heart and character.

foreman ko'd him and said he set it up which he obviously did, moorer stated "That's bull****. Don't fake it." and it wasn't bull****, obviously if you watch the fight and watch george herding him you will realize it was a pre planned strategy. ****in guy always has an excuse. like with tua, his excuse was that he wasnt warmed up..

Moorer would quit in the middle of sparring and etc

Uh...only reason Golota would've had a hurt neck/skull in that fight would've been from Tyson's punches.

Golota IS heartless. Typical euro fighter
