All I see is a Morales UD since I think he'll box well, stay away, use his jab effectively to keep Pac away and his uppercut when he gets close. Pac will do good in the beginning with his great speed and power, winning 3 of the first 4 rounds, but I think Morales will adjust and shine through. Just as JMM figured out Pac and won every round from the 3rd on (IMO, at least), so, too, will EM.

Looking at their styles and experience the smart money would be on Morales winning a close but unamious dec over Manny. Manny's power and speed does make this result debatable because he probably can hurt Morales but i am equally sure that Mr Morales can hurt Pac so i think its a 12 round fight the odd knock down and probably Morales taking a pts win! ( or maybe the draw...)

These people are powerful but not enough powerful to hurt Morales considerably. Now here comes Pacquiao, to be honest,I do not think these previous foes of Morales could match the speed, quick lateral movement and power of Pacquiao. With Pacquiao's blazing speed and power coupled with his devil-may-care style, I do not think Morales can effectively box at his own will. If you are looking on Pac's chances based on the Marquez fight, then you can get fooledby your own eyes, many people failed to see the real Pacman there, it was a case of Pac putting everything on his left hand and forgetting that he has to box too to beat Marquez. It was a totally different Pac when he dominated Barrera that he drew with Marquez.

In contrast to popular belief, Pac would not go reckless right away on Morales but instead he will try first to use his quick hands, in and out and try to target the body then the head, until such time that Morales begins to feel the pain, then goes the all-out attack of Pacman! From a distance, Morales has the reacht advantage but Pac's quick movement and faster hands could contain that advantage of Morales. In a close distance, i think there is where Morales will be in great danger. Morales uppecuts will sure be there but can he sustain the power of Pac hitting his breadbasket? No one ever hurt Morales and never that he faced a fighter so faster than him, i think Pac simply has the ingredients to topple him with aplomb...finally!

You make some very good points and I had already factored them in when I made my decision. The fact is, Pac is also moving up in weight. Pac is a natural 122-pounder who looked at 126 only because of the mega-fights with MAB and JMM. Now he's going up to 130 to fight the second best fighter in that weight class (after MAB, of course). Even though he did have three fights at 126, he came in at 125 during all three fights. Eric will weigh 130 the day before, but will come into the ring near 142, maybe even 145. That is too much weight for Pac to contend with, IMHO.

Hell, we don't even know if Pac's speed will carry with him to 130, either. This move up in weight is what makes me favor Morales. I love Pac and he is an exciting fighter. A Pac win paves the way for a MAB rematch (much better than a Morales-MAB iV fight, IMHO) so I will be rooting for Pac to win, but I just see Morales as having the advantage. It won't be a blow out, as I see a score close to 115-113 or so, but I do think Eric will take the UD.

PRboxingfan, just gotta remind you when PAC fought MAB, he was at 135 at fight night, if EM comes at 142 or 145 like you said he will be to slow and a sitting duck ...

i hope for all of us fans EM comes in around 135-140 probably his best figthing weight and PAC can come in at 135 probably his optimum fighting weight ...
