View Full Version : your most hated school subject? julDilla 03-15-2005, 08:35 PM for me it has to be english i sucked and i hated to write essays, but you guys can see from my grammar czars_salad 03-15-2005, 08:41 PM for me it has to be english i sucked and i hated to write essays, but you guys can see from my grammar trigonometry, algebra, chemistry, physics these subjects give me headaches the only good thing was that my physics teacher was very sexy - the only reason i was interested in that class neils7147933 03-15-2005, 09:10 PM I hated when you got to junior high and had to take Industrial Technology and Home Economics. I was always much better at academic subjects than making something out of wood or cooking and sewing... BigE 03-15-2005, 09:37 PM I never liked higher math classes. Calculus I and II were probably my least favorite. boxing fan 03-15-2005, 09:47 PM I home school so I hate recess because I have to play kickball with my mom and she usually beats me anyway... The Fix 03-15-2005, 09:49 PM my most hated is physics, i hated it. czars_salad 03-15-2005, 09:54 PM I hated when you got to junior high and had to take Industrial Technology and Home Economics. I was always much better at academic subjects than making something out of wood or cooking and sewing... when i was in my fourth year, we did carpentry, and it was pure fun. but sewing and cooking should be banned! Boxhead2012 03-15-2005, 11:50 PM Pretty much all of them SonnyG8R 03-16-2005, 12:20 AM My least favorite were probably the foreign languages. Purity 03-16-2005, 01:32 AM my most hated is physics, i hated it. me too. trying to teach kids athletics is ****ing ridiculous. it serves absolutley NO purpose towards your future. if you're too stupid to understand that your body desires to be healthy then you probably don't belong on this rock from the start. rsl 03-16-2005, 01:58 AM Any subject where it requires using your brain(lol). The Troll 03-16-2005, 02:07 AM I always disliked going to lab science class personally. Atwa_66 03-16-2005, 11:29 AM algebra by far SonnyG8R 03-16-2005, 12:50 PM Truth is school always came pretty easy to me. The problem was that I am lazy and an extreme procrastinator. If I had applied myself I could have easily gotten straight A's in all honors classes. As it turned out I got mostly B's putting in almost no effort at all. Lesson to you younger guys. If I had it to do over I would have applied myself. puppy_dogg 03-16-2005, 12:54 PM i hated hell all together, thats why i left leff 03-16-2005, 05:09 PM algebra by far Agree i hate algebra hate it, hate it. masterdirector 03-16-2005, 05:31 PM Sonny, me too! That's the same crap I've done, still do, all my life. Slack off and it causes me to not get straight As when for the most part, I could get straight As in everything. Least favorite class' are/were the French and Spanish classes. Currently in French History. Trying to care about it, but I just don't at all. I've just recently found a way to combine it with my film classes so it is a little better. I hated English classes, although I used to like reading, until about 12th grade. That was when I started understanding metaphors, figurative language, etc. Then in English 102 in college, I finally had the best English teacher ever. He got down and had class, actually taught, sat basically with the students, talked to us, broke things down for us. I learned the most from him as far as symbols and all. He used to work for the MLA (Modern Language ? Association?). Anybody who has written a research paper in the last 20 or so years, you know about MLA format and all that. He told us that they just made up rules at the MLA just to make rules. He said they tried to make the rules make sense, but many times they just made the rules up without any real reason. He said for us to not worry about grammar at all when writing our papers. He said most college teachers are hypocritical for making students have no grammar errors and for making them follow MLA to a tee because most professors who write anything real have it edited by an editor. Since he didn't bog us down with following correct format so much, we focused on the poetry and the literature only, and he made it very easy for us to see these symbols. It was life changing for me, because had I not had his class, I would've stayed a miserable computer science major and would've been stuck programming my whole life. Yeah, money would've been good enough, but I enjoy writing so much more. I can't tell the movie industry this, but I'd make movies for free if I didn't have to make some money. Shaolin Bushido 03-16-2005, 05:33 PM Math ... like a muh****a. Cause I sucked at it. Dr.Depravity 03-16-2005, 06:50 PM Probably English for me. Spelling, nouns, pronouns and ****.
