Saw Chopper awhile back, thought it was excellent. Eric Bana was fantastic. One of my favorite performances.

I have a film called "The Nugget" in my DVR. Is that any good?

I recommend The Castle and Young Einstein or watch Brian Brown in US films such as ****tail, FX and FX 2: Murder By Illusion.

Chopper is probably the best Aussie film ever made though.

Well I forgot about The Mad Max films but in my opinion Chopper is fantastic !

Check the ones out I suggested and you will see they are not really good compared to Chopper.

There is other Aussie films I seen recently, First one was it was a fake reality documentary about a toilet cleaner which was funny and the other one is a documentary about Eric Bana and his love for racing cars in real competitions.

I can't remember the names though so hopefully some Aussie posters can help.

I'm struggling to think of more right now but maybe there is something else I am missing.

You're thinking of Kenny and Love the beast

Some others:

Wolf Creek
Romper Stomper
Gallipoli
Underbelly (1st Series)

It's sad to say but when new Australian movies come out the cinema is usually quite empty.

The Castle and Chopper are probably my two favourites. Wolf Creek goes alright too. To be honest though.. I avoid Aussie films like the plague. Usually complete ****.

The first Underbelly series was good...

has anyone in here every seen the Changi mini-series?

Good Australian movies?

Why don't you just ask for a 7'0" tall, obese, chinese girl, with red hair, and freckles, while you're at it?

Crocodile Dundee is the best australian movie i've ever seen. That shows you how crappy australian movies are.

Babe and Priscilla( i know you're gonna quote me and bold that but it was my sister who wanted to see that crap, not me), Queen of the desert are the 2 other ones, and i couldn't watch 15 minutes of both combined.

There ya go wanker (except the obese bit).

Watch Breaker Morant or Gallipolli. Same sort of vintage, sad war films and one has a dodgy Jean Michel Jarre soundtrack!

Well there's Crocodile Dundee, The Castle, Wolf Creek. And a few more I can't think of.
