According to reports coming out of Mexico, Marco Nazareth (4-4, 3KOs), 23-years-old, passed away early this morning as a result of injuries that he suffered during the stoppage loss to welterweight prospect Omar Chavez last Saturday in Mexico. It was the second time Nazareth and Chavez fought. Not a legend like Arguello, not a star like Gatti, but just the same, another boxer dying an untimely death.
