The April 30th meeting between WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko and Hasim Rahman has been officially postponed. Vitali Klitschko sprained upper thigh muscle Friday night while jogging in Ukraine. After a Saturday meeting with his doctor, he was advised to stop training and rest for a few weeks. Klitschko's will have his thigh checked out in 2-3 weeks in order to determine if he recovered enough to resume training. [details (http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=849)]

I am putting this question in two threads because I REALLY want to know the answer.

Because Danny Williams was not a mandatory then doesn't that mean that Vitali has to defend his title soon or lose it. How can say the fight will happen in the summer at the earliest! How long can he hold it without fighting?

Tszyu held his title for almost a year before he got stripped. It's only 3-4 months from the originally date because of a legit injury. The WBC will in no way strip him.

Thanx. I thought you had a year from your last defence.
