Boxing’s problems are well-documented by now. If you want a big fight, be prepared to wait 2-10 years for it to cut through the bureaucracy of promoters. At least Toney is honest about it.

Yeah , i dont have a problem with mma at all , im just not really interested in it. Im actually glad mma is having success , otherwise boxing promoters would have stayed content with ripping off customers with substandard ppv's .Now they have taken heed of mma's rising popularity and the recession where people will need the best fights to part with their cash by making better matchups like the brilliant super six tournament coming up.

who gives a **** if a bunch of idiots would rather watch UFC than boxing.. yeah its true UFC owns all its fighters, so if they want a fight to happen it happens. boxing can improve in that aspect. and yeah its cool to see a beast like lesnar ****ing up good fighters. but it sucks when they cant throw a punch for ****, and dance around kicking each others legs.. then then pull guard, its pretty gay to watch.. a lot of UFC fights are like watching audley harrison fight, its frustrating to me. i loved seeing kimbo **** tank up with that counter right

I don't agree with what Toney says but he's hardly the only well known fighter to like or respect the sport, De La Hoya respects MMA, so does Ray Jones Jr, Manny Pac hell even Sugar Ray Leonard and George Foreman had good things to say about MMA and they're more than relevant.

You're don't appreciate the skills and training they have. Ustinov was an MMA fighter and he's not a glass jawed weakling.

You are a disgrace to the combat sport fanbase, therefore what said has no relevance or contribution to the discussion. The less we had of ignorant fanboys from both sports like you, the better.
