(Sugar) Ray Robinson 179 wins, 19 losses, 6 draws, 2 no contests, 109 KO

THEY SAY THAT SUGAR RAY ROBINSON IS THE BEST P4P IN HISTORY

WHAT IF PAC AND S.R.R. FIGHT?

SINCE THE PACMAN AND NOT MAYWEATHER IS THE CURRENT BEST POUND FOR POUND FIGHTER IN THE WORLD.

Well,"DA PACMAN" get's KO'D brutally by (the real) Sugar Ray(Leonard).Against Ray Robinson however? Tough fight to call really,I think "DA PACMAN" stops him inside of six rounds personally.

I do think both men would fail a piss test under modern and fair circumstances.

What weight? Robinson also fought at 135 and beat the Lightweight Champion Sammy Angott in a non title bout. Or is this fight at 147?

Well what ever weight, Robinson would just be to good of a fighter and to big and strong for Pacquiao.

It's an insult even mentioning Ray's name in the same sentence as that overrated product of the HBO hype machine.

Robinson ends it whenever he wants.

How could it be overrated? Look at their bodies. Robinson's body is 60% fat. He can't beat Pacquiao. If Pacquio is an overrated boxer, Hatton would last in at least the 6th round.

That is just one of the strangest comments I've seen here lately. :dunce:

What does that even mean? How was Ray Robinson fat? How does that mean he would supposedly lose to Pac?

A rake thin, zombie looking, shadow of a shadow in Morales beat up the hugely muscular, 0% body fat Pacquiao, so what does that say?

Look at their bodies and tell me how Pac ever lost?

****ing hell, what's happening to this place?

Sugar Ray Robinson was fat? I've got to admit that's a new one. Points for originality.

Hey mate, he's open for a counter right in that first picture against Zivic! Pac could switch to righty and beat him with that shot Toney style.

Pac KO in five by a counter right!

Threads like these really make me hope Mayweather will fight PacMan so we can end all these "PacMan would smoke (Insert Top 25 P4P Great) in under 20 seconds threads".

Anyways SRR would smoke PacMan at WW, Mayweather at WW, Williams, Cotto, Mosley at WW, Clottey, etc, etc. There isn't any current WW on his level.

Robinson fought monthly, sometimes weekly, could you imagine how good he could be today with only 2 fights per year? He'd KO Pac and Cotto in the same night. lol

Did Robinson fight many southpaws? I know it can't be many, they were practically nonexistent in that era. That would be the only interesting dynamic, Robinson was a natural welterweight.

pac would get Kod by 5'11" SRR within 5 rounds.

Robinson was 5'11 but he was skinny as a rail.

Pacquiao actually comes to fight weighing more than Robinson.

Jake Lammotta, who was 5'8 and had the same reach as Pacquiao was able to bang with SRR. Lamotta isn't half as quick as Pacquiao and doesn't boast half the skill either.

Robinson at Welter always came in at 147 - 152
Pac's last 2 Welterweight fights he's come in at 144 and 145.

Pac's chin doesn't come close to LaMottas which is what was keeping him going through all the fights, imo.

But I kind of agree with you, Pac is being under rated in this match up by some people but I still think that Robinson ends it by KO fairly early.

As well as him being 160+ pounds.

I think this is a tough fight for either. Pac's speed, conditioning, chin, workrate and southpaw style would prove problematic for most welterweights in history.

You have to pick Robinson, but it wouldn't be a whitewash at all in my opinion!

I would love to know the weights of both Lamotta and SRR in there 5 fights?

Thank You

PS:Could you send me a private message, and tell me how to get the weights for fighters for certain fights. Thanks
