I told all of you before that I dont understand why Cotto is fighting Chop again. Chop is my boy but I want to see Cotto fight Harris.

I think we will see a whole complete different fighter in cotto.

Well everybody wanted to complain, wine, now we have to see him fight Corley again, while his fight with Harris is terminated, only cause Corley took a knee, and the ref saved him from being KO'd 10 sec's later, great going guys :rolleyes: .

The article says that it might be Corley or Abdullaev...I would prefer it to be Abdullaev to avenge the robbery from Sydney, but I won't be mad if he fights Corley and knocks his ass...again.

Thats what you say but most boxing experts say that the Harris fight is terminated because Cotto didnt look that good and they are scared to put him in with Harris right now

Corley should go down to 135, he can make that weight..

There are so many other good fights out there for Cotto . . . if a possible fight with Harris is confirmed out then why fight Chop again? Go for the real thing . . . go for Gatti! DAMN too much circus acts. :boxing:

I really am curious to see what weight Cotto comes to the weigh-in at, to me that will say alot about how much longer he stays at this weight, cause if he struggles as hard this time and it still takes 2 or 3 tries then he may move up after the fight which would really suck cause then no Harris fight AGAIN!

I really think that Cotto wants Corley again as opposed to Abdullaev or however you spell it, while I'm sure avenging his lose as an amateur is a big deal to him, a stronger showing against Chop in a rematch is imo very important to Cotto, as well as 99% of Puerto Rico!

In my opinion there are many excellent fighters in the division that are sort of avoiding to fight each other for records sake. That is why is so hard for fighters like Cotto to challenge these champs. Cotto brings too much risk to the table. A true warrior should fight the best fighters available and even if he does not win, the fans will respect him for doing so. In the mean time Cotto has to fight again with Chop until the Gattis, the Mayweathers and company make themselves available, that is, when it is inevitable for them to take the risk.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on that. I don't think that there's going to be any temple shots this time around. Expect the usual patient breaking down the body Cotto in that ring come June 11th. I believe he learned that he has to focus on the guy in front of him rather than pleasing the crowd.

Damn, no Harris fight? I want to see Cotto with somebody who can actually crack a bit and have some skill. Alsoo as a fan of Harris it really hurts me than he wont fight anybody worsy in due time.

That's true but, Then again it's not that hard to KO someone after a temple shot like that. i don't know why Corley didn't but come on it wouldn't be that hard. there had to be more of a reason of why Corley didn't go in there and finish him off. He must of felt something in that ring that we didn't feel thru our T.V screen??? Anyone can get shocked at any point and time. No one is immune to that.

I highly doubt that any of you will see Cotto come into another fight like he did against Corley. He usually fights at half of that pace and takes half the punches that he took against Corley.

It'd be very interesting to see how Cotto deals with Harris' range though.

This fight showed all of us why Cotto's been a protected fighter. When he fights a top guy with some skill & more pop in his punches than Corley, he'll get KO'ed.

Wouldnt you rather see him fight someone else tho? I kinda wanted the rematch too,at first,but now Im expecting a boring fight, unless corley goes for temple shots,or cotto leaves himself wide open again.Cotto/Harris, thats the ****!,lets see that, cotto already showed he could beat chop under these circumstances: Fighting a stupid fight/and getting rocked,surviving with two minutes left in the round,cotto HAS to move up,and soon, so i wish he'd hurry up and fight other great fighters at his current weight, why waste everybodys time with a Chop rematch,nothing against chop,but really cotto should be moving on, and if he did,and dominated, then nobody would care about that chop fight anyways.

Well in the 2nd fight he'll definately know what to look out for, but my question is what's he going to do the next time he ups his competition and doesn't know what to "look out for"? (against the likes of Hatton, Harris, Tszyu, Mayweather, Witter, etc.)
