Last time I checked, he fought two future HOFer welterweights...so where do the other 40+ fighters on his record come from? are they all welterweights too? what happened to Eastman being the #1 middleweight under Hopkins? the only guy who could "give Hopkins the test"?

at least Hopkins beat the fighters who moved up to challenge him...

it is true that the last time he lost was to a future heavyweight champion of the world and maybe the greatest fighter ever. And he didn't lose that bad at all.

I may have said that but all i meant was that, his fame came from fighting welterweights, he wouldnt be nearly as popular without having fought trinidad, and oscar, and i thought oscar wa out of his league.

Glen Johnson is a natural middleweight. And I believe he even fought in the super middleweight a few fights before Hopkins. Joppy, Allen, among many others.

Why do people say Hopkins ONLY fights welterweights?

Most of those guys are probably haters.

People say that because those may have been the only welter's he's fought but they were basically the only 2 good fighters he has beaten and Oscar started off at lightweight. X beat alot of bums and some 2 or 3 times

Haters aren't going to appreciate him until he's gone. Just like "Marvelous" Marvin Hagler..
