OK...you must be a fat ass then.
Then the guys in the 140 pound class aren't badass for their weight??? Answer the question, and don't worry about anything else...

Zab Super Judah 11-21-2004, 05:11 AM corrales considering alot of people thought his chin would crumble vs freitas
freirui 11-21-2004, 05:54 AM Vitali klitschko
WillieW 11-21-2004, 06:06 AM Vitali klitschko
His only fight so far this year was against Corrie Sanders. This, in your opinion, makes him the fighter of the year? Beating a semi-retired golfer who was able to rock him in the early rounds? Really, nothing against Vitali, it was a good win, but how does that make him fighter of the year?
You have Chico, Pac, Tarver, Kostya, Wright, B-Hop and many more to chose from. They had better matched fights and made better strides this year. I would be hard pressed to pick Vitali as fighter of the year based on that one performance.
Nick54 11-21-2004, 11:36 AM Diego Corrales
Good choice.
jpboxer3 11-21-2004, 11:48 AM Winner of Tarver/Johnson: Both Kayoed RJ this year.
WillieW 11-21-2004, 11:51 AM Winner of Tarver/Johnson: Both Kayoed RJ this year.
Nice concept, beat the man who beat the man. I would go with that.
Boxerdog 11-21-2004, 12:01 PM No matter what we say, Winky is having the year of his life.
Big paydays were few and far between for him in the past. He is F.O.Y. in my mind.
t_tsuguri 11-21-2004, 02:44 PM morales for sure if he wins on sat.
Novirasputin 11-21-2004, 02:57 PM Chico
won two fights he was not supposed to win or was at least on the fence about
Everybody else pretty much only won one such questionable fight
EM might be after the MAB fight but since im expecting him to win
i will say
Chico
Nautilus 11-21-2004, 03:01 PM Kostya !
Kostya !
Kostya !
ME123 11-21-2004, 03:04 PM I hate winkey but the guy deserve it
lapulapu 11-21-2004, 04:33 PM Marco Antonio Barrera will be the Fighter of the Year, after his win against EM. After being relegated to the dustbin, MAB will get his greatest comeback next week. Watch out, Erik!!!!
Champoreeno 11-21-2004, 04:48 PM Hopkins or Corrales
Argentina 11-21-2004, 05:34 PM I'd have to give it to Winky Wright, of course this is just up until now. Next month Vitali is fighting as well as both Glencoffe Johnson and Tarver, and with a devastating knockout against each other they can catapult themselves to number one so far. If Vitali demolishes Williams he will be up there, although probablyl not number one. Of course, if Williams wins (and I believe this is a big if), then he'll be fighter of the year as he beat Tyson and Vitali. But Winky catapulted himself to stardom after the first Mosley fight, and has beaten him again.
psychopath 11-21-2004, 05:42 PM Based on consistent explosive performance my candidates would be:
W-Wright
B-HOPKINS
M-cotto
Corales;Trinidad; Kotsya Tzsyu and Pacquiao showed a good performance as well but they fought only one time this year.
oldgringo 11-21-2004, 05:52 PM Winky/Corrales/Morales are my front runners...winner of Tarver/Johnson also. One of those guys deserve it.
dpfinley 11-21-2004, 11:48 PM I had Chico and Winky on my original list but when I tried to make it a poll it messed it all up... Defenitly both solid candidates.
I disagree with Vitali Klitschko, Andrew Golota, and even Tarver/Johnson winner - must face it - both beat an incomplete Jones. Pac also didn't do enough in my mind to become fighter of the year.
Thanks for the feedback...
What's your choice for the fight of the year? As for me I go for JMM vs. Pacman. :D

Silencer 11-22-2004, 01:58 AM What's your choice for the fight of the year? As for me I go for JMM vs. Pacman. :D
Yup!!! The Pac-JMM war should win the fight of the year honors. Think no one comes close to so far...
phallus 11-22-2004, 02:11 AM i think it's Corrales, Chico had a really good year. also Kostya because he came back form a long layoff, and it looked like he'd never been gone at all. Maybe Glencoffe Johnson, because he was destined to lose against a less than prime RJJ and he KTFO'd him instead
paulmmv 11-27-2004, 03:33 AM Erik Morales
paulmmv 11-27-2004, 03:35 AM Klitschko vs Sanders
Its Kosta, he only had one fight but it was his first fight in two years and it was also against the top guy in his divison. how many people could have done that?
Tyson'scolon 11-27-2004, 12:36 PM I vote for that guy that knocked out Juan Carlos Gomez with the funny name.
Nautilus 11-27-2004, 12:41 PM Kostya!!!
Kostya!!!
Kostya!!!
bigdlb12 11-27-2004, 12:44 PM I say Kostya, what other guy faced an opponent like Mitchell, the 1st fight was real close but S.M. blew his knee, everyone and their mama was thinking that Sharmba Had Kostay #,I bet on Kostya via Ko and won, Fighter of the year
moochi 11-27-2004, 02:28 PM it would have to be kostya tzyu........he came out of the abyss to annihilate against all the odds......and in only three rounds...bernard hopkins has done nothing except for the decent performance against robert allen.......the de la hoya fight was a joke and we all expected it.......tito done well although he didnt fight a tite holder.
