When you say "best puncher," do you mean it by power, accuracy, etc?

Theres only 10 poll options allowed sorry. Oh yeah BTW guys like Tyson i didnt include coz i consider them shot. And its not fair having Tyson most devastating puncher for nearly 20 years is it LOL!!!

tito has the hardest one shot of those imo. good arguments could be made for corrales and marquez though

When he says best he means the better of all attributes. Tszyu is easily number one, also the most experienced, on the list.

Also another advantage tszyu has over the other fighters listed, is he punches methodically, thats why he's so effective

I think Juarez has the best one punch power p4p on the list

Felix Trinidad is the best puncher on the planet right now in my opinion.

No i dont mean all attributes i mean one punch power i made the poll lol. Yes i agree with the poll users that Tszyu is best but only next to Rafael IMO. I never thought of Tito as a one-punch huge puncher but there are a lot of patriotic Puerto Ricans for some reason.

Marquez is more of a combination puncher.

Pacman and Tito have more 1 punch power.

when has tito kayo'd a guy with one punch? he is a finisher, hard puncher but not hardest p4 p, gotta go with tzsyu

May 15, 2001 -- "He's a great champion, I never thought he could hit like that. I didn't think he would have that much power coming up from 154 pounds to 160. I have never been hit like that before." said former champion William Joppy after his loss to Felix "Tito" Trinidad.

That is a big statement, coming from a decent fighter with a decent chin.

Tito Trinidad, hands down

"DAMN! I DIDN'T THINK THAT ***** WOULD HIT THAT HARD!"

joppy has an ok chin, that fight was an abberation, b-hop walked right thru trinidad's punches the very next fight

B-Hop's chin is granite. There is no doubt about that. His superior defense and ring intelligence enabled him to win that fight. He made Tito look 1 dimmensional, which he is. He plods, But when he hits you with a left hook, it changes the course of the fight...and from then on he is like a shark in bloody water.

Never did I expect to see a "Who's the best puncher" thread without some heavyweights mentioned.

If it comes to power I have to say Wlad is the biggest puncher in boxing as of today. But P#P it has to be a draw between Tito and Tszyu while favouring Tszyu because of his superior accuracy
(Tito is accurate too, no doubt) and timing and also knowledge of anatomy. So my vote is Tszyu. Rocky Juarez is up there also.
But he did not beat anybody of a note yet so I cant really tell.

You have to take into account who people fight, too. Danny Green (who I am hoping will win this weekend) has KO'd 90% of his opponents, but is a good, solid puncher, not a massive one. He SHOULD have KO'd most of his opponents.
P4P Corrales has to be up there, with Tszyu, Trinidad & R Marquez.
None of these guys is a Julian Jackson though!!!

Rocky Juarez is a great puncher, I saw his last fight where he took the guy down with one punch, messed him up pretty bad...

Kostya Tszyu's only really effective punch is the straight right hand, but by far I think he is the most effective fighter/puncher today since normally when that signature punch lands, the other fighter lands also :P

I don't care, shot or not, Tyson is still the best puncher when he lands it.

Mike's punches got me into boxing.
But, you would think the best puncher on the planet would be able to land it - Mike is struggling these days.

Yeah it's sad to see Mike Tyson go down so hard..

Btw, does anyone know who was the hardest puncher in boxing history?
