Now, the people I've mailed this morning to inform you that youre tapes would be mailed out tomorrow (Mon.) dont worry, they still are simply cause I already promised them to you. IF I havent mess. you today (Sun.) about tapes then I'm sorry, I have nothing for you.
This is the last weekend I'll be taping for anyone.
Due to an unexpected expense concerning my daughter, I had to actually borrow the money to ship this past weekends fights out.

No big....I never charged anything, just asked to be reimbursed for the shipping. I went for a while having a relative tape all my boxing for me and I know first hand how much it sucks, so I felt bad for those that just didnt get the right channels, etc..But to be taken for granted that way just isnt working. The day I have to borrow money to ship is the day I stop. If just one person had sent me some on their postage (just part of it atleast) I wouldnt have had to borrow any. ahhhh... precious, you should have stopped sending tapes after they haven't paid you the first time. And why are you covering the tapes too? No I wouldnt leave the site, and it's not like I'm holding a grudge or anything...I just kept giving people chances to pay up and I kept thinking that surely they would. But, the "orders" kept coming in and nobody ever mentioned what they already owed me :eek: . I'm no innocent and I know there are some real ****'s in this world, but like I said before I know what it's like to not get to see the fight's, its depressing as hell, and that's why I was doing it. It wasnt a big deal til all the shipping started adding up! :o

I've gotten mess's and there seems to be some concern that I'm having trouble with Christmas, I'm SORRY if that's the impression that I gave, it wasnt intentional. My spoiled little girl get's more than most kids and all is well. It just seemed the perfect time to pull the plug cause of Christmas and I do have to watch the funds for now anyway :)

If anyone wants free fights, there are tons of ways to do it that don't involve ripping nice people off who are doing you a favour. Get on Shareaza or something, or go to the torrents site (thought they just slapped on a waiting time for people who don't upload enough).

Better yet, go to the downloads section of this forum and make a request. I'm happy to upload anything that I have if you ask for it (as long as work never catches me :cool: ).

Trust me, my girl doesnt want for anything. Souds true enough! My dad once did something to help someone out, and they never repaid him. Well, they came back evuentally and asked for something else and he turned them down. That person got sooooooooo pissed off at my dad and of course never repaid him. I was a kid and didnt understand why the guy didnt pay him back, and why he was so mad when my dad "called him on it", so to speak. He said simply "baby, this world is full of ungrateful *******s, and the ones that get mad over that kind of thing are the one's that know thery're one of them"...makes sense! ;)

I am going to come out and say that Tracy taped 2 fights for me which I greatly appreciated and love her for. Tracy pm'd me and said don't worry about the shipping fee because it was only 3 bucks compared to 40 or whatever for people overseas. I probably should have sent her a check anyway, but i was waiting for Christmas and was going to surprise her with a nice gift.

You dont know how many people I was taping for Mooks. It took several sticky notes, etc. to keep straight who wanted what. How the hell am I supposed to do all that and remind everyone of what they already knew? What they should have done was the min. they recieved a pack. from me was go get a money order and pay me...pretty simple. Its priorities...and I wasnt one. They had no problem remembering to ask for the tapes, and kept up with what fight's they wanted, etc...but payin me required a reminder?? I dont think so.
If I sounded angry it was cause I got up Sun. morning and looked at all 12 pk's that needed mailing Mon. and knew I had to borrow the money to mail them for one reason, cause everyone had FORGOT to pay me in the first place. It was their responsibility, not mine.

You dont know how many people I was taping for Mooks. It took several sticky notes, etc. to keep straight who wanted what. How the hell am I supposed to do all that and remind everyone of what they already knew? What they should have done was the min. they recieved a pack. from me was go get a money order and pay me...pretty simple. Its priorities...and I wasnt one. They had no problem remembering to ask for the tapes, and kept up with what fight's they wanted, etc...but payin me required a reminder?? I dont think so.
If I sounded angry it was cause I got up Sun. morning and looked at all 12 pk's that needed mailing Mon. and knew I had to borrow the money to mail them for one reason, cause everyone had FORGOT to pay me in the first place. It was their responsibility, not mine.

No question it was their responsibility and reminders SHOULD'nt be required. 12 tapes to ship is a lot of money, daym you might as well run a business. But in all honesty, people aren't as responsible or as true to their word as you. I mean **** I haven't payed my cell phone yet but lemme tell you they WILL REMIND ME lol. If you we're expecting people to pay you what they owe without being reminded or collected even though THAT IS HOW ITS SUPOSE TO BE, it wasn't gonna happen, specially when your getting mad flocks orders. You would have needed to work on a system of colelcting or something.

People usually don't pay, friends or no friends, everyone forgets or puts it in the backburner to do for later. I don't think anyone you sent the tapes to MEANT to scew you over specially after that nice gesture (very nice I might add considering these are internet peeps yor dealing with) but to expect them to pay promptly (which I agree 100% is they're responsibility and duty) is giving people way too much credit.

Again I symphatize as I've gotten the short end of the lending stick in the past and it sux that it had to come to this. To your credit at least you did something about it.

She had to do something to get everybody's attention, now the excuses to let it slide sound pretty ****in weak to me! If someone does you a favor, pay them back because people like that are rare - nice people need to be rewarded for being nice, not pissed on and **** on because most people aren't nice, it's far more common that people are *******s like me - when you ask for help thye just say **** OFF!

I don't know about "excuses to let it slide". I told the absolute truth in post #45 and #47. Garrett and I are the only 2 out of a dozen or more people who had the balls to come forward and admit we had tapes made. the rest of you are cowardly ****s.

Instead of trying to private mess. all the people that I've been sending taped fights to, I thought it best to just post this. Considering just how many people that includes, messages would take all day!
I hated to start an actual thread over this, but it cant be helped and this IS the fastest way to get the word out so everyone can make other arrangements for this weekends ppv of Morales-Barrera.
Now, the people I've mailed this morning to inform you that youre tapes would be mailed out tomorrow (Mon.) dont worry, they still are simply cause I already promised them to you. IF I havent mess. you today (Sun.) about tapes then I'm sorry, I have nothing for you.
This is the last weekend I'll be taping for anyone.
Due to an unexpected expense concerning my daughter, I had to actually borrow the money to ship this past weekends fights out.
Borrowing money is against everything that I believe in and it's completely against my nature. It's something that I just DO NOT do! But, since not one single person has bothered to reimburse me on their shipping costs I had no choice but to borrow it.
I thought I was being nice and helping out fellow boxing fans who simply couldnt see these fight's any other way. Recently I've found out that some of you have HBO and yet STILL asked me to tape Sat's fight for you??
I have shipped almost 40 tapes, and that doesnt include all those fight's of MINE that are still in England! But that's ok, I no longer want them back...keep 'em, and you know who you are!
It's a shame that it took me this long to finally 'get it'...that none of you thought that I ATLEAST deserved to be paid back for the shipping. I am not exaggerating here...NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON has sent me a dime for shipping yet, and you've all had more than enough time (I know this cause I've had time to mail you tape after tape and I cant believe some of you are even still asking while not bothering to mention what you owe me). We had an agreement; I would cover the blank, new tapes...just pay the shipping. It's only right, and it's the principal of the thing.
So, from now on all the money I've been spending on that will be used to buy my daughter's Christmas gifts....did any of you even think of that? All of you know I'm a single mom, but obviously didnt care.

I can understand that someone forgets to pay timeously for 1 or 2 items. But 10 or more? That's a liberty and a total ripoff! Those that have perpetrated this, do so with clear intentions. Disgraceful!

However.......In my opinion, you should have been explicit regarding payment from them. Say...one tape sent...payment received, before another is posted. Additionally, why pay for the tape yourself....you're not Mother Teresa, or Rockefeller either!

To the guys who owe:- Pay the lady. She did you a favour. You have put her into a debt situation.
