GeNeRaL 03-08-2005, 01:11 AM Leben returns, not really surprised.
Col that Quarry gets to stay as an assistant trainer. He woulda won anyhow, imo.
I think Leben shoulda stepped up and called out Koscheck and avenged the loss and shown everyone how it shoulda gone down... oh well i guess we'll see it soon enough.
Forrest is going to own the LHW's...can;t wait to see him in action :)
Fallout 03-08-2005, 01:13 AM I don't know what that guy was thinking called about Deigo. Deigo beat the **** out of him.
Diego Sanchez is a monster.
VulgarTheClown 03-08-2005, 01:34 AM diego si a bad bad dude once it hits the floor, but i don;t like him
forrest will kill the 205's
Mr. Beelzebub 03-08-2005, 09:37 AM I think the show has started to favor Couture and his boys. Leben gets to comeback, Quarry gets dropped but stays as an assistant trainer. ****ing Bull**** if you ask me.
Sam has realized this and is now hanging from Couture's nuts. This show is basically a springboard for Team Quest.

Yes, but too bad it works out in anoyher way.
Also I like how Diego made an example of Rafferty. He sent a message loud and clear to everyone else.
Squezze 03-08-2005, 10:28 AM Rafferty made a horrible choice. Basically, he didn't wanna fight Florian cause they were friends. He deserved to get the **** pounded out of him for being such a knob. Somebody should have told him that only ONE middleweight wins a contract, and you're gonna have to fight your friends eventually. That's just the way the game goes.
Sanchez is my pick to win it all. I don't see anybody stopping the guy.

While I don't think it's right that Leben gets to come back and I know how it looks, I don't think there is any inherent biasm. Sometimes **** just works out at a certain angle and if you think Nate getting to stay on as a trainer is anything special you're mistaken. Dude was in tears because he won't get his chance to fight in the spotlight - being able to hang around is a very small solace.
Also, I thought it was proper of Leben to not make everything immediately about him and Josh regardless of how bad he wants to avenge the loss.
Diego is ****ing nuts but his one track mind makes him a formidable fighter - I think he has got that show in the bag.
mmafanman 03-08-2005, 12:34 PM Bringing Leben back was absolute bull****. He was eliminated and should've stayed eliminated. Everyone's going to raise a big stink if Leben actually wins the whole thing. And what if Leben gets another shot at Koscheck and beats him? Do you bring Koscheck back for the third and final grudge match?
Keeping Leben eliminated and having the teams adjust to one man down was the only fair way to go, in my opinion.
As for Rafferty, what the **** was he thinking? He should've known better. This show wasn't about making pals. It's about winning the UFC contract. Somehow, he lost track of all of that and let his friendship trump his common sense. If he were smart, he should've picked anybody but Diego. He paid for it, and now his ass is going home.
Mr. Beelzebub 03-08-2005, 12:44 PM Quarry gets to chose who's coming back? That was BS. If anything it should have been up to the trainers or even Team Liddell to decide who comes back.

You're probably right. From what I've seen, Diego has the most talent out of anybody there. My only concern for is that he has the chronic back problem. I hope that doesn't get in the way.
Also, I remember seeing him at UFC 51 in the audience. He didn't look too happy for some reason.

Sam has realized this and is now hanging from Couture's nuts. This show is basically a springboard for Team Quest.... who are really Liddell's guys after they switched teams. Not only that but Chuck's fair haired boys both get to stay on the show with their whining; one by getting hurt and not fighting at all and the other by whining and getting his ass beat and being allowed back.
In the meantime, two guys who fought at least are gone because they don't kiss ass. Southworth who fought his heart out and showed much skills and the dude who was forced to go to Chuck's team only to be sacrificed while a refreshed charity getting Leben is allowed back and throws in his 99 cents worth of input that basically coincidentally backed Chuck's "uhhhh, dude. You're fighting today against your buds". Heheheh. And **** you since you love Liddell's team so much."
I know, I'm exagerrating but damn. I hope Liddell whoops Chuck's ass this time.
