I think Floyd v KT would a battle of epic proportions.
Gatti v KT would be the most spectacular fight.
phallus 11-21-2004, 04:33 PM If Tszyu wants to be remebered in boxing history he should take Spinks' titles at 147 and be undisputed at 140 and 147, if he wants to give the fans a treat he should fight Mayweather. i think he should do both, but somehow i doubt the Mayweather fight will happen
reebox8225 11-21-2004, 04:38 PM Oscar del hoya, great fight.
Neuraxis 11-21-2004, 06:02 PM Beat Mayweather and then Spinks.
jack_the_rippuh 11-21-2004, 06:04 PM Whoever more people sees as the more established fighter. I personally would say Spinks, because the thing with Spinks is that Kostya would be moving up in weight to beat the Undisputed Welterweight champ (that's if he can), as far as Mayweather goes, he just moved up into 140, if he can fight a couple more fights, and grab a belt, then my thoughts would probably change, but it's hard to bea the glory of moving up in weight to beat the undisputed champ at the weight division.
Champoreeno 11-21-2004, 06:04 PM I don't know about glory, but I think Spinks is the easier fight.
Handing Mayweather his first loss would be an acheivement
Argentina 11-21-2004, 08:39 PM FOr some reason or another I don't see the fight with Mayweather developing in the near future, maybe because Mayweather's people would not want to risk anything quite yet. At least let him get a belt in that division. If Tszyu could knockout Gatti fairly fast that would be a big plus on his career, what with Gatti's durability and what not. However, I also think that becoming the champ at 140 and 147 would be incredible for his legacy. Hence, the fight with Spinks.

I agree, if KT goes to 147 and becomes undisputed champ in 140 and 147, that would be sick. It would send his legacy through the roof. I would kill to see him fight Floyd, but I dont see that happening. Gatti would be target practice and a good "Hype" builder to a Spinks showdown. I hope it goes down, KT deserves a lot of recognition.
FistoftheDallasStar 11-21-2004, 10:33 PM His best option would be to clean up his division by beating every challenger in it, and that includes Mayweather. If he does this and then wants to move up than I say go for it. I don't think it makes a lot of sense for him to move up to fight Corey Spinks when he still has some legitimate comp in his weight class.
The Fix 11-21-2004, 10:44 PM he needs to prove that his win over zab wasnt a fluke.
Nautilus 11-21-2004, 11:36 PM he needs to prove that his win over zab wasnt a fluke.
He KOed Juda last time like he did many other very good fighters. What more does he need to prove?
Neuraxis 11-21-2004, 11:38 PM he needs to prove that his win over zab wasnt a fluke.
That'd be like saying that RJJ needs to prove that his win over Griffin wasn't a fluke.
Verbl_Kint 11-21-2004, 11:59 PM It is debatable whether or not Mayweather is ready for KT, but if the opportunity to fight Floyd is there, KT should take it. Handing this kid his first loss would put him on the top echelon of the pound for pound lists, moving up in weight and beating Spinks would put him on the number 1 spot.
I hope all this happens in 2005!
dpfinley 11-22-2004, 12:12 AM I agree that a fight with Mayweather would be spectacular, for the boxing world, as well as KT's legacy if he won.
KT vs Gatti would be a fun fight to watch because it would be a straight brawl, but not vital to his career... If only Showtime and HBO could get along, but he only has two more fights in the contract.
Then he should move up to Spinks and fight for his belts...which he should still have.
Deejay 11-22-2004, 12:19 AM he needs to prove that his win over zab wasnt a fluke.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Zab needs to prove he's worthy of a rematch. Maybe he'll get around to that after he picks up the remaining pieces of his jaw that were lying around after Tszyu shattered it the first time.
Tszyu doesn't have to prove anything at 140 anymore...bring on Spinks I say.
Zab Super Judah 11-22-2004, 12:24 AM i think beating mayweather would be the best for his career....than fighting spinks or judah again
Zab Super Judah 11-22-2004, 12:25 AM I think judah vs tsyzu at 147 is a very good fight and it wont end so quickly this time around
Zab Super Judah 11-22-2004, 12:26 AM even though judah lost he still clocked tsyzu pretty good in the 1st round...hes one of the few that have shook tsyzu up

Zab Super Judah: You aren't totally one-sided for Judah at all are you???
(Im laying on the sarcism pretty thick here - if you didn't notice)
Invader_Stu 11-22-2004, 12:49 AM The thread title is 'Which fight will bring KT the most glory?'
Whether or not you think Judah derserves another fight (IMO he doesnt) you have to admit beating him *again* will not bring more glory than delivering PBF his first loss, or stepping up and beating Spinks.
My vote goes for PBF - altho as said many times before, this fight is unlikely due to networks being dicks.
