View Full Version : Castillo, and Lacy win enadeus 03-06-2005, 12:33 AM My question is, so what? .::|ULTIMATE|::. 03-06-2005, 12:36 AM So those divisions get that much more exciting. Castillo gets to fight Corrales in May, (thats right almost right away) and the super middleweight division starts to pick up steam. Librado Andrade vs Lacy could be a good match up in the future though Librado Andrade still needs a little more experience. abdiel2k3 03-06-2005, 12:40 AM man thos ecuts really fuked diaz big time he was beaten castillo at his own fight then the he got cut and got more worried about protecting it then he gets the other cut and his other eye starts to swell so he cant see the punches comin anymore his fukin corner shoulda stopped the fight when he couldnt see that way hed have more of a chance at a rematch or climbin the ranks again now since he got KOd its almost impossible for him to go back to the top Diaz just let castillo grab and clench to much Marjoh 03-06-2005, 12:40 AM Let's just hope Corrales won't screw up again. :fingersx: Super_Lightweight 03-06-2005, 12:43 AM Beating him at his own game, huh? Yeah right. Diaz put up a good fight, but Castillo's game is on the inside, rough-housing, and Diaz certainly didn't out-man Castillo in that department. People always underestimate Castillo because he starts out so slow...but he is legit top 10 p4p I would think. abdiel2k3 03-06-2005, 12:44 AM Beating him at his own game, huh? Yeah right. Its amazing that nothing Williams hit Lacy with seemed to have any effect on Lacy at all. HayeFan 03-06-2005, 07:07 PM Lacy vs Calzaghe would be such a good fight. It's the sort of match-up that cannot fail to ignite. Super Middleweight is looking livelier now than it has in years. You've got Green, Lacy, Mundine, Kessler, Andrade, Williams, Ikeke and Hanshaw. That's nothing to sniff at. Froch doesn't really do much for me yet, he's got grit and a good dig but I cant seem to get past his hype. I hope to Christ Joe has a change of heart and abandons his silly quest to overthrow Johnston and Tarver in the division that's still mourning the loss of it's expired champion. Why jump ship from a division that's on the up to a division that has nowhere to go but down? The ONLY good thing about Joe fighting Magee next is that he's still at the weight. It really should have been Kessler. If a Lacy fight were to be made I think the boxing world would be introduced to Lacy's shortcomings in an action fight that would see the bull being taken by the horns and beaten at his own game. HayeFan 03-06-2005, 07:09 PM Oh, and Lacy vs Williams was outstanding stuff. Both guys take a step up in my book. |
