Benitez was hurt a bit but it was a terrible stoppage and should not have been stopped so soon.

Have you ever seen Curry vs Benitez ? he was is in far!!! more trouble than that and he hit the canvas more times they i can remember and still got up and continued to fight.

If you watch he had a few opportunities to get out of the corner but stayed there.

They never mentioned that on the telecast infact his dad was trying to say he was not really focused because he had just had new child etc and his head was in PR.

They never mentioned this on the telecast, even his own father seemed oblivious and that was when he came down to ringside to do an interview, so assume Benitez was not in the ring at that point you would of thought they would of noticed something like that wouldn't you? im not calling him a liar just that its strange they never picked that up, unless he did not want to make it public there and then.

Hamsho is/was underated. His first fight with Hagler was great. Very good effort by him.

In the hamsho fight, benitez laid up against the ropes the entire fight. hamsho beat the hell out of his body and I did not give Benitez a single round. It was a 160 pound elimination fight.
