I think Masato would do great in MMA. No lightweight in the world would stand a chance against him on their feet.

I'd love to see him in MMA but I think he'd have to train his ****ing ass off to even be relevant.

2 time K-1 Max Champion. A beast of a kickboxer.

But, I don't think he has the time to put in the work to be a force.

He'll probably end up @ LW if he does come to MMA. There could be a couple interesting match-ups, but mostly, nightmare match-ups being there are so many grapplers and wrestlers.

Masato is a G. He really pours his life into what he does.

wtf is going on here. Masato's hands are lethal, no Lightweight would want to stand with him.

yeah i think Masato would tear it up in MMA in the LW division. as long as he keeps the fight on the feet not many people would be able to last

He's too fragile.

BJ Penn, Clay Guida, Takanori Gomi there are a few that would throw with him but its not really about the strikers as it is the all around ground game. LW is the land of wrestlers and he'd get smothered by guys like Gray Maynerd and submitted by guys like Joe Stevenson.

People rave about Cro Cop because even tho he was never champ he was one of the very few kickboxers that actually found success in MMA.

If Masato put the same work into his ground game as he does with his rediculous striking skills then he cud def make some noise

He'd have to put a ton of time into grappling so he can survive, but on the feet, he'd whoop ASS!
