This should be a good fight, big step up for Fury, i've only seen McDermott in the Williams fights but this willl be a big test for Fury. If Mcdermott can apply some proper pressure then this could be a real toss up but if he just plunders forward then the size advantage will tell and Fury will wear him down. I think this might be Fury's 1st full length fight and see him winning a UD, probably about 7-8 rounds to 2-3.

I think they are rushing Tyson. He probably can outbox the veteran but I don't think Tyson has the strength or experiance to hold off John for the distance. John has that "old man strength" and if the ref doesn't prematurely stop it for Tyson we will see him tested in the last few rounds.

Absolutely. McDermott is a step up in class. He's fought Danny Williams and Matt Skelton but lost to both and neither Williams nor Skelton are A list fighters. I consider Williams and Skelton to be in the "legitimate contender" category.

Fury has a long way to go before he can be in the ring with a Williams or a Skelton but I wish him well. He's fun.

Maybe he marked down McD for all the grappling he was doing? Fury was poor, altho I think he was slightly stronger at the end.
