In a fight filled with offensive fireworks, unbeaten Almazbek “Kid Diamond” Raiymkulov sent Koba “The Cobra” Gogoladze to the canvas three times en route to a sixth-round TKO, Friday on SHOWTIME. In the “ShoBox: The New Generation’’ co-feature, undefeated Kelly Pavlik scored an impressive second-round TKO over Dorian Beaupierre. The doubleheader, which took place at the Silver Star Hotel & Casino, was promoted by Top Rank Inc. and aired at 11 p.m. ET/PT (delayed on the West Coast). Stylewise this Kid Diamond really reminds me of Kostya Tszyu, they've obviously been taught the same Eastern bloc way of fighting in the amateurs and you can see it in their styles with the extended left arm & the way they move etc. Gogaladze looked pretty good as well so this was a good match up between up & coming guys, hopefully we'll get more matches like this :boxing:
