Looks like **** to me... I know graphics don't make games but what the hell is this pc game made for processors slower then 1ghz and 64mb video cards with atleast 128 ram

Why not? Can't they make them with good graphics? And how bland and plain the graphics are, my cpu might burn that game alive and outrun it too much... What happens when your pc runs a game too good? I know in some older games it makes the game run faster in a bad way unless you get a patch for it.

I was just gonna say that, I got Champions online the other day, same thing, not great graphics but it's fun so it's ok with me.

The size of the game makes it a massive task, it would take them years to make it as pretty as a FPS. Not everyone has got a top end system with latest graphics cards, and they are not going to get as many customers paying £15 a month if it don't run on the majority of PCs.

The reason why graphics aren't good for MMO's is because you can have hundreds of players on screen at one time and that will slow the game down if lets say the graphics were Killzone 2 quality. That's at least what i am told and it makes sense to me.
USA4LIFE 09-04-2009, 01:15 PM Everything else looks beautiful IMO, how the sparks look, how the surroundings look. I can't wait to play as a jedi.

Can you be a jedi from the start? Star wars galaxies used to be good, because it was really hard to become a jedi. Then they changed the combat system and you could be a jedi from the start and everyone left. :lol1:

I loved galaxies before the so called "combat upgrade". I loved how you had to master different jobs before being able to be a jedi and it was different for everyone. I remember I just mastered the classes I needed to become a jedi and I was working on missions to unlock the jedi class and then suddenly everyone was a jedi and just wanted to duel. i was pissed beyond belief, i had the game from the beginning and was a few days away from being a jedi and they ****ed me over.
But to answer your question, yes you can be a sith or jedi from the beginning but that has to do with the time period of the game, there were still sith and jedi running around by the boatload. The producers have said they made the game so every class is badass so not everyone will be a jedi or sith.
Grand Champ 09-04-2009, 01:45 PM Star wars ? I don't **** with that. :D
Dem Eyes 09-04-2009, 01:46 PM Because WoW's graphics are so much better?

OK thanks, I think this might be a game i want to play, anything Star wars is usually good.
Dirt E Gomez 09-04-2009, 06:18 PM One of the main things with MMORPG's is the ability to appeal to a large group of people. They need to be able to upgrade the game assuming it stays in circulation. New patches or new additions/expansions can upgrade the graphics somewhat. However, assuming the game has expansions for a couple of years they can't keep updating the graphics without outrunning people's machines.
But as a whole I can't believe anybody still complains about graphics... ever.
Source 09-05-2009, 08:49 PM Wow i find the older one looking better.
But that was on the console.
