Yea I guess it should be renamed to how good is Kostyas chin, I think it is solid and it will be a great challange for either Mayweather or Gatti knock him out. I just don't see it happening.

There's nothing wrong with his chin but it's far from being the best in boxing with people like Hopkins, Toney, McCullogh, Morales and several others around. All these guys have faced bigger hitters than KT has without ever looking like being stopped. KT's been stunned by people like Urkhal and stopped by Phiillips.

He was ducking most of the punches but some landed flush if I remember right..I'll watch it again and check it

I gotta agree, Tszyu has a solid chin but he's been stunned in nearly every fight, even Leija and Mitchell did it.

Wayne McCullogh & Erik Morales for me both have been in a lot of wars and never been knocked down (Morales slipped against Barrera it wasn't a knock down).

Wright's got a solid chin i watched Harry Simon Hammer him and he didn't go down.Also Also DLH's always had a very sturdy chin hi pudgy body let him down tho.

Yo, You definitely need to see that fight again if you think Trinidad landed some good shots because he didn't do that through out the whole fight. If he did things might have ended differently. What fight did you see??? Hopkins is a good defensive fighter that does not let his opponent have his type of fight.

With Michell it was a headbunt that "stunned" him.

Leija? I don't remember Leija landing anything that looked solid on KT. Leija came out strong and tried to smother KT, but nothing was very effective and KT didn't seem phased.

With that said, I think KT has a good chin, but not the best in boxing. I would actually go with Vitali before KT.

Gatti should be mentioned...Morales...Tyson...Mayorga...lots of good chins out there.

I think Vitali Klitschko has a pretty good chin. He took some big bombs from Corrie Sanders and stood standing.

The best chin out there would possibly be someone that you hav'nt heard of before because the guys that you know about are only a fraction of the fighters boxing-you dig. Until someone can enforce a "lean back" on Oliver McCall, he should be said to have the best chin of known heavyweights. Later brother brologs.

well you have to remember that Hopkins doesn't ever allow his chin to be tested, so it just seems he has a great chin, but the fact is, no real power punches ever hit him right on the chin. and when they do, he's moving his head back before the punch lands, so it cuts the power of the punch in half, if not more

Mayorga does deserve a special mention for willingly getting nailed by Forrest - who`s a heavy puncher at that weight - then doing the exact same thing with Trinidad.

I think Jeff Lacey's chin is slept on. he wears people down by taking punishment but his power alows him to penetrate and do damage. he'll take any punch to get his punch off. he also one the most in shape and hungry boxers in boxing

Nobody else I can think of in the entire history of boxing could've taken those shots and remained upright. Look at the fighters Wanyne McCullough has fought.

I understand that being hit by another heavyweight should be taken into consideration; however Vitali is a very large man, with a long reach. He has been tagged by some punches, but leans back and avoids flurries, while exchanging.

McCullough is a human punching bag man. He (like Vitali) have never been knocked down, or out. I think the pocket rocket has fought the bigger P4P punchers in his career though.

Both you guys have good points about McCall and McCullough. I hadn't thought about either of those guys in awhile, but yep, they both have taken huge punches (Notice that both of them have Scot names...like me ;) ). It'd be hard to pick at this point, especially if you overthink it, like I have a habit of doing. Let's wait a few years and see how Klitchko carries on from this point before we make any decisions about who we decide to put in the HOF for the biggest beard ;)
